"Una notte a Napoli," featuring lead singer China Forbes, is one of the band's most popular original songs, first heard on the album "Hang on Little Tomato." The song was written by bandleader Thomas Lauderdale, China Forbes, and their friends Johnny Dynell and Alba Clemente, in Italian, and has also been released, in a Spanish cover version by Santana, on their album "Corazón" (as "Una Noche en Nápoles").This performance, filmed at Bella Madrona ("The Gardens of Sampson and Beasley"), in Sherwood, Oregon, was part of a charity concert the band gave in front of a small group of donor-supporters to help raise money to preserve this beautiful sanctuary (which inspired Pink Martini's song "The Gardens of Sampson and Beasley")
