A little Italy in Araucanian lands - Capitán Pastene
The inhabitants of Capitán Pastene, are descendants of 100 Italian families who emigrated to Araucania, Chile in 1904. During the festivals, they dance the tarantella and the manfrina and play bocce ball in the town square. The prosciutto matures in the cellars. Four young people travel to Emilia Romagna, where they confront their mythical Italian world with current development and the revelation of the hardships that caused their grandparents to emigrate.
