They have the Indy road track, they just didn’t adjust the schedule to change it. They also got rid of mid Ohio and Canadian tire because they aren’t on the schedule, but in mods they were subs for other tracks
it's better to leave motorsport games to rot. remember, their contract with nascar lasts until 2029 - if we can boycott the sale of any of their products, that's 6 less years we have to put up with their bullcrap.

Here’s more for you, you can’t adjust the car setup like previously. It’s just tighter or looser. Redick and bowman just don’t race in career mode because they have all three drivers in the 16 car taking up roster space. There also doesn’t appear to be any difference between two star and five star teams. One good improvement I noticed is you don’t get a contract offer after Daytona 500. Not sure when the first offer will come though. Only a few races in
From what I can tell, it uses the Gen 6 setup. Whatever you change on your Gen 6 car setup loads in the Gen 7 car. Only difference is that there's an extra gear that you can't see, so obviously, 5th is locked. But, it works. (This is strictly online, I don't think you can do this in any offline mode)
That whole game is unnacceptable : Motorsport Games should be ashamed of themselves. And NASCAR, if not tearing them a new one, should at least tear ther exclusivity deal.
If you play career with this 2022 roster, William Byron and Tyler Reddick do not race for some reason, they permanently sit out since there's more than 39 other AI, absolutely rediculous

And yeah, if there's one thing i never liked in nascar is main drivers getting replaced. Regular heat 5, i think Ty Dillon in the 13 car was replaced, despite him being a back marker type, he's still one of the drivers in every race. Now we got two major contenders out. 🤦🏻♂️ I wonder, if you sign with a team that has multiple cars of the same number, Kaulig or RWR, #16 and #15 will you replace that main driver in the standings with the car you picked?
Here's a strange issue, I'm doing career mode 2022 and in the second season I noticed William Byron and Tyler Reddick are not racing, so there are drivers that will be in the points standings with no points and no starts on the season. That's broken unless it's some sort of "realistic injury" which is unlikely (Xbox version)
I have the update on PS5 with no issues. Indy Roval is on the new update. No custom setups. I started 40th at Kansas on slider 9 no assist on Nascar Heat 5 2020 and finished 26th. I started 40th with the update at Kansas on slider 9 and finished 27th. I use a g29. At Daytona with the draft top speed 191mph. With 2020 top speed in the draft 210. I am going to start my career or Championship season with the 2020 version.
On Xbox the game crashes after doing pretty much everything. You can do a race, game crashes while loading back to the menus. Change settings? Game crashes. Reset career? Game crashes.
Funny thing,ive been stuck in 2nd place before for laps and laps,me and 1st place come up to lap everyone and they body block him and i slide into first. And i bought the dlc bundle thinking something would apply to my own car....i wasted 10 bucks
I just want to know how they scored the teams in career. 23XI at 4 stars, RFK went down from 4 in the base game to 3 in the expansion. Nothing against 23XI, but it think RFK is probably a slightly better team. SHR losing a star made sense, i guess. I dont know, am i the only one that doesnt agree with the star rankings?
Soooo I havent played since before the update came out. I did not buy the update. However for some reason when my game loads it takes me back to title screen and freezes up while continuing to play the menu music. Nascar's server must be down. Only game that is doing that right now my disk is totally clean as well.
Yeah it works on Xbox until it doesn’t. Crashes literally every time I try to name my driver for career, crashes every time I try to select or leave a menu, I’ve only been able to use the Next Gens ONCE. ONCE in at least 20 tries
On my Xbox it has a black screen the comes up when ever it wants. Can't even get out of practice because it makes you crash all the time. No other game does it. I have removed it and re installed made it worse.
I really hope there is some way nascar can terminate their contract with motorsport games, a nascar game from 20 years ago is better than the new games we have now.

No. I had heard rumors that EA was gonna step in and take over, But MSG created such a generous contract that EA wasn't willing to buy them out for it. So, unless NASCAR pays it out we are stuck with them for at least the next couple of years. Until 2027 I think? Don't quote me on that. But I do know its somewhere until the late 2020's
I think HighC and the modding community said they weren’t going to touch the mod. They said that they couldn’t add any tracks or move the races in the career schedule back to where they should be (considering that the career schedule that MSG provided is inaccurate - races are in the wrong order and some are just completely missing). Also what frustrates me is that HighTV and the modding community work so hard to create a 2023 mod from the ground up and then MSG creates a mod for LAST YEARS SCHEMES about 2 weeks after HighTV and the modders (now, keep in mind that HighTV/ the modders literally get no money for this and are doing it for fun while MSG is probably a multi-million dollar professional corporate company. That’s just embarrassing). And if you think that isn’t enough, they are charging 10$ for something that should have been released last year. It’s just so idiotic. I’m not doing to buy the 2022 DLC and I will gladly stick to using the 2023 mod that HighC and the other modders worked on.
The reason you're faster in fourth gear is because you're using a super speedway setup on a normal mile and a half. They didn't give new Atlanta but they still gave the same car type and set up that was needed for new Atlanta.
It’s time to just have a base game released with full modding allowed so modders can start just making and finishing these shit games since developers obviously could care less. Allow modders to build tracks for consoles as well
MSG Just needs to hire the modders for the 2023 mod and help them work on the next NASCAR game that will be released in either 2024 or 2025, because if they can get that out before an actual update, that says a lot.

Us Xbox one players didn't even get the dlc until the day after it was supposed to release, I didn't even buy it and my game won't load, now the only official nascar game I can play is heat mobile. Help.
MSG really just ruined a perfectly working game, that they never even developed lmao. DLC dont work, All previous DLC dont work. MODS dont work, AI is messed up.Prior to them touching this, it was fine.
Indy Road Course has an issue where the front tires like to lift off the ground, give a real cool Stadium Super truck vibe, really like how MSG incorporated that.
What makes it worse for you Heat 5 players,RIVALS HAS ALL THE NEW 2022 TRACKS. Yes,They did take out Kentucky,Land and Indy Oval. But Rivals has Cota,New Atlanta etc. It's honestly sad that Motorsport games takes out tracks.....But cant add the new ones. Its dumb (Also Rivals has a paint booth etc) Its a dumb game (Also the game you are thinking of when you say "Its a Heat 5 port,I believe you are thinking about Heat 5 Ultimate Editon+" Rivals isn't really JUST a port) Also no paint schemes? One problem I’ve been having as someone who bought the game through the PlayStation store on the PS4 is that whenever I try to make adjustments to the game and save them, the game always ends up crashing on me. Same goes when I finish a race. When I complete a race, it crashes and it’s like the race didn’t even happen. Career mode? Crash. Season mode? Crash. I’ve had so many crashes with this DLC that I think I’m gonna have more DNF’s with this DLC than Legacy Motor Club’s is gonna have for entirety of their season.
I play on ps5 and I'm having the same issue. I can only play Race now but can't change the settings without it crashing and can't play championship mode or career mode without it crashing either
Did anyone honestly think this DLC would be any good coming from MSG? I gave them enough money with Ignition and don't plan on giving them a dollar more like a sucker.
I keep getting the problem where on a random restart my car will only go up to 85mph and that’s it. Another couple of time the whole field was that way so I caused a caution and then it was fine again. Just makes me mad since I went from 3rd to 36th due to that EDIT: This happens every time I play now :( Wish I didn’t waste my money smh
Career Mode is kinda fucked up too, Legend AI can hardly keep up with you at any track. No Custom Set Ups for the Next Gen cars might be a reason the AI is a little slower, but the top half of the field can qualify a second faster than 15th place, but then in the race they're a second and a half slower than the player car.
As one that has NASCAR Heat 5 on PlayStation and glad I didn't spend the $10 for the Next Gen update. Looking at how Atlanta, Sonoma, and the 2022 schedule got handled, they're not getting my $10. Looks like that whoever handled the update got lazy on those areas.
Im on Ps4 and it works great for me. The only issue is in split screen the engine noise isnt there most of the time. You can restart the race and get it back but if a caution comes out it goes away most of the time
I haven't seen anyone mention the messed up textures on the chevy models and the messed up window textures in career mode. The wheels are too dark, the interior is the 2020 car and the cars overall look like they ripped them straight off the switch game.....but they didn't bother with the tracks? These people are super lazy and don't give a shit about NASCAR at all....this is what happens when you give development exclusivity to a euro dev team that hates NASCAR clearly. I really wish NASCAR would rip their license away from these fools, since they are in breach of contract by not releasing a new NASCAR game for PS, XBOX and PC in 2 years.
This is so frustrating. I just wish we got a serious sim nascar game for console, well it doesn't have to be IRacing level, but at least to the level of codemasters F1 games, especially 22, in medium traction actual drivers said that is how the car feels. It's 2023, and the graphics look like a damn arcade machine with a detailed car model photoshopped in. It just looks ridiculous. Just looking at the way it drives has arcade all over it. I don't understand why they think this trash is acceptable. I feel sorry for the mod community polishing this turd. A nascar game made 20 years ago is still supported by mods and played to this day. Says it all. If they actually took it seriously, updated the physics and graphics and slapped a legends pack in there, the likes of the king, Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr, Jeff Gordon and the likes. It would be the best-selling motorsport game that year. Hands down. Just like F1 2020 was when they slapped Michael Schumacher on the covers and added classic cars and drivers. It would be instant money maker setting them up for years to come. It's actually tragic how neglected Nascar is games wise, especially console. This update is a straight-up disgrace on the sport and the fans alike. No excuses.
The 2022 update for my Xbox just won’t work. I try to save my changes to my settings for game play and it will just freeze and the game will just stop. It’s been like this since I downloaded the new 2022 update. Most annoying shit ever!

I got it on Xbox by getting it through the Twitter links by nascar heat then downloading it to my Xbox then earlier today they made a patch and it worked
