Naaaaaaaah man That was hitless. You literally killed her without taking a single tick of damage and only after the battle did you receive rot. This was a hitless run.

i appreciate the kind words man, but i still took damage after killing her, and that still counts as a hit, thus invalidating the run in its entirety. i didn't even see the meter i was so blinded by my initial astonishment. I'll do it over again and next time it will be entirely hitless/no dmg, a true hitless run.

this one hundred percent counts as a hitless malenia run. you did not take any damage from the boss while the boss was alive.

Yes that is true, but a 100% real hitless no dmg run requires that i take absolutely no damage of any kind in the boss room no matter what, so i gotta do it again.

I recon this is similar to other hitless runs, as in like (I think) damage taken from the environment or damage you do to yourself, does not count as a fail. I will assume that the same goes for this, as it is after she is dead, and she cant hit you or anything, only the environment after she died, affected you. (At least that is what I imagine this is about)

After malenia heals, she has this passive rot buildup if you're close enough to her, most of the time it isn't much to worry about, but after i killed her, i dodged away, and at the end of the dodge anim my char nudged like 1 millimeter to close to her and the scarlet rot still built up even after she died, and i ofc didn't realise cause i was just flabberghasted that i even got that far.

Yes, its the unalloyed malenia mod, essentially making vanilla malenia incredibly more difficult in a plethora of different ways
