@@piratelute8934 A-Chan was the best friend of Tokino Sora and a founding member of Hololive. She was a staff member who appeared in some streams and HoloGra videos. She's worked at Cover Corp for around 7 years(I forget specifically how many). If it weren't for A-Chan, if I recall correctly, Suisei and Miko would've possibly graduated years ago. For everything she's done for Hololive, she's considered a pillar of VTubing. She left because a family member who was sick or unhealthy got worse(she was vague about who they were and what their problem was for the sake of privacy). She'll be helping take care of them. We don't know if she'll ever return or not, but everyone has been wishing the best for her regardless. Her departure especially affected the Hololive talents.
People keep saying "man her voice is amazing." But to be clear she has a lot, and i mean a LOT, of skill. You can hear the years of experience and practice in her singing. All of the fundamentals and flourishes are second nature to her. This allows her to focus on ad libbing and giving the song her own unique sound. Sry for mini rant but i really want people to know how truly special it is to witness her talent and skill in hololive.
Heheh it's fine, they also usually compare her to the other hololiver but that's just biased opinions, she's league above the rest (she's obviously a highly trained professional in voice department and not like singing is the most notable thing for a vtuber anyway) Singing was a performance for the others, but it's a game for her lol Love her ad-libs
Completely agreed. She's incredibly experienced with taking requests and basically winging it - around a third of her song choices are ones she might not have sung for months or years, or even at all. As you say, that takes years of practice. You can hear it in how she changes key mid-breath - she's not (always) showing off, she just doesn't remember how the song goes, and doesn't want to stress the outer edges of her range. But she shifts so quickly and naturally it sounds planned, or even like its showing off.
Her singing gives me goosebumps and teary eyes... never... NEVER... was an vtuber able to do that to me. She has by far the best singing voice of hololive... if not even the entire vtubing community.

@@pacificnebula4899 As a Filipino, one of the most popular things we do is doing karaoke. No matter the day, occasion, heck even when we just have lunch with a group of friends one will suddenly suggest to go karaoke and everyone will agree. The "curse" is that when people get drunk enough during karaoke, they suddenly have this confidence to sing My Way even though they don't have the range for it. Because of how bad their singing is, neighbors or even other singers will get pissed at the singer, start arguing, and one thing leads to another until a shot is fired or a knife is brought down.
Doing the work of kings (or queens, I suppose). I don’t often use vtuber terms, but I think I can safely say she has become my ‘oshi’, and in only a week too. She’s so cool and fun, never mind the amazing singing talent.
Gotta say, using the sound of fire crackling for that before stream section? top tier stream design, exquisite. Not only is it fitting for the lore, but it's very functional as well. Say you want the stream open to get right into it when it starts, but you wanna do some things in another tab. with a music bgm you'd likely mute it and miss the stream start, but with this it's not nearly so distracting.
after the original Stream i went and listened to "Kiss from a Rose" and "Padam Padam" (the originals) and i think Liz's version of Padam Padam is waaay better than the original.

Oh man, she really got me during Endless Love and My Heart Will Go On...was legit crying at how beautiful those were. And her cover of My Way, I honestly believe if Ole Blue Eyes could hear that, he'd be so impressed.
Es wäre so toll wenn Liz irgendwann "Snake Eater" singen würde. Sie hat "Skyfall" schon so geil gesungen, da kann das nur großartig werden. "Bad Romance" hat mir bei diesem Karaoke am besten gefallen.
