In my last fan reviews many of you requested a comparison with Arctic fans as an addition. I decided to listen to your request, which is why today I'm introducing you to the Arctic P12 Max 120mm fans. A total of 3 of them will be put to the test on a radiator.
The tests will not only be carried out at the respective max fan speeds, but also at a normalized 40dB in order to find out which fans offer the best performance at the same noise level. This much can already be revealed - today's P12 Max fans offer an almost unbeatable price-performance ratio, and currently can be had for around 11 - 12 US Dollars a piece. Are these Arctic fans really that good? Not only in terms of performance, but also build quality.

Are you convinced? 👍 What are your personal thoughts and experiences with Arctic fans, specifically those shown in the video? 🤔😁

I use these same fans for my pc, every single one in the case is a p12 max. If you don't care about RGB these perform like an expensive fan and when bought in bulk cost very little per fan. At a cheap price moving an incredible amount of air these are an amazing deal!

Indeed, these are great. Especially when having to buy quite a few for a full build. A lot of money can be saved and the performance is really good! :)

I was able to snag 10 of these at microcenter for $2/ea. After using them, I would easily buy them again at full price. Nicer looking, budget noctuas!

While you're taking suggestions: I'd be real interested to see the Iceberg Thermal "IceGale fans tested. Because it was the only decent RGB fan in stock at my local HW-store at the time, I'm running a single 120mm ARGB version as my rear exhaust. While I paid around €20 when I bought it, these have come down quite a bit in price: Same fan cost €13 today which is a pretty good deal for a high-speed ARGB fan. The frame's design looks a bit unusual, but the RGB is very nice and even and performance data suggests both high airflow and static pressure. It does get a bit noisy at max RPM, but then again: It does spin up to 2200 RPM. I'm currently thinking about getting a Deepcool LT720 and a three-pack of those IceBergs to turn the AIO into a full RGB-unit - but I'm not sure about performance.

at 40dBA, what is the speed of the P12 Max?

Absolutely. Arctic fans give you 95% of the performance for a fraction of the price.
