I LOVED this video! I never knew the story of Winnie, how cool is that?! And the story of Laika is just devastating and terribly sad, definitely deserving of its own video. Thank you for this!
Yeah I agree I do think the stray dogs and cats populations could be managed on a more ethical manner, but i can't really blame countries like Turkey for that one recent law based on that...
@GreatSageSunWukong This is why fix and release programs exist. Proven to work. More governments should fund these programs, for the good of the animals, nature, and the communities. Not everything needs to be killed to solve a problem... That's literally what humans did wrong in every single story in this video.
2:12 - 2:17 Was that Wisent (European Bison) shown when you were speaking about the American Bison? . The stone age culture of the aboriginies, over 60,000? years caused the utter destruction of the nature of Australia. Not only did they eliminate the vast majority of Aussie mega fauna (including Thylacine) but also plant communities such as tropical and temperate rainforests. Changing climate put them all under stress, but the hunting and burning of the aboriginies was the coup de gra.
A video about extinct animal breeds, (dog, cats etc)could be interesting, since you mentioned the wool dog I got inspired. But I can understand this may not be fully your thing since its not wild nature.
I remember I nearly bought a graphic novel about Laika from a book fair in around 3rd grade. Thankfully my mom flipped through it and stopped me from reading it. I don’t think I could’ve handled that story as a 3rd grader!
I think RU-vid may’ve bugged out, your comment doesn’t seem particularly relevant to the video? Thought you should know, so you can re-post it on the video you actually meant to put it on. :)
@@thatonepossum5766 it appears so I changed my comment so it doesn't confuse 😅 I'm watching a Playlist and I commented that on the video before this one guess it decided to post here. Love it when RU-vid glitches. I will turn off my Playlist and comment that on the video it was ment for. Thank you for being nice and not rude about on a thing I didn't realize happened. I'm used to people being just harsh and rude first rational later if ever. Well thank you again. Have a good rest of your weekend.
Winnie the Pooh was originally a female black bear ! My 45 yr old daughter is going to have her childhood dreams dashed by this. She doesn't like black bears but is a Winnie the Pooh memorabilia collector, 🤣
Calling all animal lovers! Cody Roberts of Daniel, Wyoming has yet to be punished for his horrific abuse towards a wolf cub known as Thea. We must not allow him, nor any other torturer of animals get away with only a slap on the wrist. If any of you care, please fight that real justice be met! Keep this story alive, ask for better animal protection laws, continue to protest until he is given server jail time for his awful crimes. Don’t let Thea die in vain! Demand that her murderer is brought to justice. That’s what it means to be a Wildlife Warrior! #JusticeForWolves
