Yes if they want Ducati to be in podium 1, 2, 3 all the time. And MM93 will be more dominant in equal spec bike, remember he was fighting with the latest spec bike (pecco) only in corners but not in straight
if they really wanted Martin then he would have gotten the contract already, its not that easy since ducati learned from the dovi ianone and dovi lorenzo relationships
Martin can go have a factory seat with KTM and give Ducati factory seat to Marquez if he is willing to let go the old sponsors… if not keep Enea and give a factory bike to Marquez with Gresini.
Although I think jorge martin has earned his spot in the factory ducati team, I think they go for marquez considering his brand value. If rejected by ducati, I can very much imagine aleix retiring as a factory aprilia rider in order to give his machine to his very good friend jorge martin. For the second aprilia I am almost certain they will resign viniales considering his brilliant performance in portugal and cota. As for bastianini, I am very sure honda will approach him as well as yamaha and depending on his choice they may think about miller, fernandez etc.
Is getting more complicated by the day. If Marc is willing to drop all his sponsors, then Ducati is almost a lock. What they haven't talked about is what is the fallback or plan B for Marc? Aprilia should be a great option and I am sure Massimo would love to have Marc plus Marc will be able to keep all his sponsors.
@@5LEEP. Not necessarily. Do you think Bastianini will definitely tell Ducati to shove it even if they were to offer him Pramac? Don't forget, Pramac has no takers at this juncture. Martin wants out, Marc wants full factory support and Morbidelli is way underperforming. Even if Bastianini goes to Aprilia, he won't be the No.1 pending on whether he could beat Vinales.
@@Rascallucci I can see Bezzecchi switching to Pramac. I really doubt Bastianini will stay with Ducati after they replace him on Lenovo. But sure everything is possible atm

Ducati lenovo will get Martin and Pecco, Ducati will drop Pramac so that Grasini will get the latest spec Ducati to keep MM93, So that Ducati will get 3 best rider out there. This is the best solution for Ducati to be champion in 2 to 4 more years
