Great speed 😊 hope you gind a new bar soon. If your camera operator is an employee , I nominate her for employee of the month. If she is an independent contractor, that would obviously disqualify her, but maybe a bonus like 1/2 of a house or something. Take care.🤠

Anchor seal good hardwood logs so you have material to mill at the show every year. Look into converting a 40' container into a kiln. Perfect use in a boiler of yard recycling and sawdust blocks.

We used to put the old bars on the grinder real quick and take that burred edge off, sometimes you can hit it with the flat file. You get a little more life out of them. but when it is spread out and allows the chain to tilt they are pretty much done.

Your processor runs effortlessly with only one person. It's the best I've seen great choice you made. Maybe hydraulic pressure/flow could be increased/adjusted higher if new bar does not rectify problem. Imagine this processor with a guillotine type cutoff instead of chain saw faster and no loss of kerf while eliminating chain saw maintence routine and sawdust accumulation. Production would increase substantially while reducing operating costs. Also by adding stroke length to splitter the processor could switch automatically changeing between 4X, 5X, and 6X splitter blades kinda of like geting to eat your cake as an added bonus. Production would increase astronomically. I love the after splitting cleaning this system provides for your split wood. As processor is in a fixed location with unlimited power available for this facility location and does not need to be mobile consider changing to electric powered processor which would more than half your operating hourly costs for fuel and maintenance and increase reliability Ray Stormont

Brother Joe, I've been thinking about you infeed clearance problem witb the new shed. I haven't said anything yet, because i wasn't sure. But if you shift the 405 to the right a little bit, every foot you get will give you more clearance. You could easily get another two feet, but the problem will be the discharge. You can only move the cleaner over a foot at most ftom what i see in the video. You may be able to cheat a little more by adjusting the discharge conveyor. Anyway, random thoughts from a random guy on the internet. Good luck!

I would put a header from corner to corner on your right side at about 8 ft. off the ground then cut those 2 steel studs down till you reach the top of the rails of the log table and weld in a sill then you would have about the same situation that you used to have it would create an opening in that wall so you could load long logs on the table again

For the bar and chain the best bet, besides online, would be a saw dealer or shop. Box stores might have it, but dealers can help get it right. Due to the fact it seems your chain possibly is a semi chisel, if not full chisel, possibly with square cutters, take your business card in with you. Some (most) dealers won't sell aggressive cut chains without professional credentials or some background like you have. Happened to my grandpa years ago who was told by a buddy he couldn't get one. Liability and risk management for them due to kickback, which I totally understand. Though yours is going into a machine, they don't know the use intended. Otherwise I would say buy a 16" bar and chain set thats more standard and it likely works just fine anyway.
