Ive replayed this half a dozen times and for the life of me cannot work out what the 50 was for. I thought the mark was legit as well. Umpires need to be required to explain these decisions, seriously.

This game sums up the umpiring in 2024. Never have I seen more bad, match altering decisions in 60 years of attending footy.

Undiscipline loses games of football. One thing Nick Daicos does exceptionally well is, he never talks back to umpires. He simply gets on with it. Discipline is key.

How is that a hold? Hawkins would have zero marks and no goals if it's a free kick. Then the 50? And not a mark paid on the other side? Typical, seemes the AFL/VFL umpires need a review across all levels - match fixed.

Wowee how disgusting was that ! How many times do you have to this happens to decide a game before one thinks it's rigged ! AFL have become a joke ! It's not a fair competition for starters let alone the umpires having no idea of the situation in a game ! I can't remember the last full game I've watch .it's over umpired the rules now aren't the game I once knew . Too many teams ! Tackling rule does anyone know? I was told as a kid the harder you go the less youl be hurt , it's not exciting anymore and it's completely WOKE! why our once great game gets involved in politics is abusing there platform which should be football only ! AFL has allowed grass roots clubs to fold and not prosper through fees etc .. imagine if it was still VFL where the best players in Australia were chosen to play imagine how good the standards would be in all state league clubs . Each VFL club could have a game day list of 30 which brings player opportunities and better viewing ! We as viewers suffer from Decisions the AFL have done over the past 30 odd years local and state footy has suffered and now all these rule changes for the speed and safety of the game are just a joke ! There more injuries now than ever .you don't have to be tough and fearless when the rules favourite the soft and we all know the woke love the minority!
