I totally get it! Tools like Winston AI are getting sharper at detecting those AI humanizers. But have you tried Hybrid Writer? It’s different because it’s not just about tweaking words-actual human writers work on humanizing the content in a way that truly connects with readers and bypasses detection. Would love to hear your thoughts if you give it a go!
If writing using AI tools is considered wrong or taboo then the same logic of thinking should also apply when using AI to detect AI-assisted writing. Based on this, using AI to detect AI is very wrong, in addition to creating many possibilities of wrong accusations and causing anxiety that should not exist.
OMG! So there's AI services to convert AI generated content and make it NOT look AI to University AI detectors! OMG. My head is reeling at this........
@@YunusAli-xs1wk what does it implies? I am not against him but I am saying that those softwares don’t give you a quality content after running your write up
If the use is acknowledged by a researcher, then maybe yes, but as the video focuses on how to avoid detection, the aim is clearly not to be open and honest. This is opposite of academic integrity.
Fair point! AI can be great for research, but for writing, that human touch is what makes it real. Hybrid Writer helps with that-human writers step in to bypass AI detectors and keep your content engaging. What’s your take on AI and human writing?
Originality is a scam, I'm not sure if you're promoting this tool or you have actually tested it. I copy text from books old papers long before Ai trend most of them were labeled as Ai generated content.
@@shaneegan7354 I know right. Like I don't understand how do we supposed to have a good writing if all the good words are flagged as ai? Do we have to use stupid words to make us look stupid for it to not be detectable as ai?
00:38 🔍 Turnitin, Originality, and gp0 are tools used for AI content detection. 01:18 💡 Originality was the best at detecting AI content compared to Turnitin and gp0. 04:44 🛡 Undetectable and Fasley were the best at bypassing AI content detection tools. 06:19 💬 Bypass AI was able to fool Turnitin but failed to pass Originality detection. 07:17 👀 Originality was the most effective tool at detecting AI-generated content despite bypass attempts.
The likelihood of misclassification remains high for non-native English speakers/writers who use AI tools to improve fluency of their documents. That being said, wouldn't it be fun to have a tool that once applied to older texts would show how many of them were written by enslaved research assistants while signed by the big guns of the dept ? So, why is AI generated text such a scandal whereas assistants generated work has not been so for decades
How good is originality of confirming that content is NOT AI when it is indeed human generated? One tool you showed in the past detected everything as AI.
Hi, I'm the creator of StealthWriter, I want to point something out, although all some of the tools claim to bypass all AI detectors, you need to also take into account the quality of the text generated from these tools, there are many tools that claim to provide undetectable content but the output is just gibberish unreadable content. It would be a good idea to create an unbiased video comparing these tools in readability also and not only the undetectability scores. This is what we focused on the most when we created StealthWriter.
@@mahermansour1131is it still working in bypassing Turnitin in? And. How about the grammar improvements I read some comments in other videos they highlighted the grammar quality
I wrote feedback to my student for submitting his dissertation, I tested my feedback in turnitin. It was detected 40% AI. I was really surprised as 90% of my writing was in first person form with my suggestions how to improve some aspects in the dissertation. Therefore I don’t trust Turnitin in detecting AI.
Phrasely AI writes far better content. Undetectable AI writes unintelligibly. For context, a Senior Year, University paper about Behavioral Pharmacology was used.
I get your frustration. Some tools can be tricky like that. If you're up for it, check out Hybrid Writer-real human writers help tweak your content to make sure it feels 100% authentic and passes those AI detectors. Would love to hear how it compares for you!
I have problem with all these tools that you have mentioned because I have tested many of them with original text and they all generated an AR detection of 20 or 30% I have written those texts way before AI ever existed so I'm not sure how I made it through but apparently I'm 30% or 40% are this is very weird and it's harming and harmful to us PhD students people who works in Academia there is something wrong with this we creating something purely original and an AI stupid tool is selling the word that no it's AI generated this is frustrating to me I don't know what to do at this point I am literally just basing myself to whether I should send my text or not I'm placing some stupid words just to make sure that my professor doesn't think that I'm using stupid AI this is became a fear for writers for people in Academia there's something wrong with these tools
Originality states on their website that it is not suitable for testing academic works because it will often have false positives. I would assume since Turnitin is used by thousands of Universities they error on the side of it being human since 100% AI detection accuracy is basically impossible.
Hey! I totally feel you on that. AI-generated content can miss the mark sometimes. If you’re looking for something more authentic, check out Hybrid Writer. Our human writers know how to create engaging content that passes AI detectors. Would love your feedback if you try it!
I have a 4000 word extended essay all of it is ai even though I changed a lot. Which one do. you think I should buy? I looked at some and they were really bad, like added slang terms into my research paper.
Unfortunately, there is no option available for us students who are studying in Africa. You see, most of African countries don't have access that can allow you pay online anywhere in the world even if you are capable of paying. So is there anyway for us students with a very limited access to bypass ai detection?
I dont mean to be a partypooper here Andy but i follow you because of your excellent content about the hard (and sometimes funny) truths about research and academia, and the occassional tips and tricks for productivity from a veteran researcher who saw the light. But of late most if not all the content is about flashy new AI tools. Having tried some of them, it's (a) overwhelming because there are SO MANY and i cant really make sense of whats good; (b) the generative AI's mostly feel unfit for research no matter how good they are today, simply because they do not seem up to the mark and more often than not are like an overconfident student likely to lack nuance. I get that a guys got to eat, and nothing against honest endorsements or even promotional content honestly, but id love to see some of your old content back as well - even the stories were hilarious. Maybe you do put them out but i only get notifs for the videos about the tools. Ps im a nobody here, so you can take this opinion with a grain of salt.
Andy great video just a small note: It doesn't "know that you're AI". It predicts that there is an x% of being written by AI. It's not like plagiarism where you compare text to text. AI detection is just a prediction and nothing more.
Hi Andy. Great content! But please do more content on PhD and postdoc research. especially on some supervisors who take all credit, e.g., there are many supervisors who take first author even if the majority work is done by the student etc etc
I believe in the power of AI as a research tool … but that’s all it is. A tool. I’m all for a hybrid writing strategy between AI and us mere mortals, But, I do believe we should be the dominant partner.

this test would be complete with your human layer of assessment how rubbish the result was in each case. It's easy to bypass AI if you suddenly make stupid mistakes, for example humanizing often changes narrative to first person which is easy but unacceptable. Detectors simply think it's a daft person and too bad for AI.
Undetectable ai is the worst tool ever. I paid 15$ cause of your video and it didn't even remove 1% ai text. Please do not make such paid videos for personal profits.
As AI gets better and learns to write identical to humans then AI detection will flag all things as AI. These AI detectors only look at how well it's written. If it's good it's considered AI. If it's highly flawed it's human. So basically everyone is trying to hold onto crap instead of embracing the future. Which makes zero sense. The reason why we can detect AI writing is because it's already better.
If an average publishing professors' work product were run through credible AI detection, the jig would be up. Makes sense they would pick the worst one for their up and coming students, lol
I recently sent a manuscript that I fully wrote to a journal owned by Elsevier. Turnitin detected my preprint copy on a preprint server and the managing editor asked if I could take it off the preprint server (Elsevier owns SSRN). I told him no. Turnitin is ridiculous. Be aware: if you have copies on a preprint server, some managing editors are wankers about this.
No way I ran undetectable ai through copyleaks and it classifies it as ai if you cant even get it through copyleaks then undetectable ai has screwed you. Other than that it's ability to detect actual ai content is actually up there with other apps
How can we identify that which source/AI tool was used to generate the content identified as AI-generated either in Turnit-in or Originality or any other tool for this? If you may have a video on it, it would be helpful.
I don't know about source but it just identifies the ai and even if it gives a source it just cites it from an article that doesn't even relate to what you got
At the risk of sounding old fashioned I feel that one should write in their own words and avoid AI tools to prevent a loss of creative writing skills and avoid becoming a lazy brain in the long run
Is it intentional irony that this video’s description appears to have been AI generated? I have got to the point where if the first sentence of any article begins with, “In this age of…”, “In today’s rapidly advancing…”, or ends with, “… in today’s business environment”, “… in the technology environment we now live in”, or similar, I move on. These are classic AI cliched article introductions. I don’t object to using AI as a writing aid, but I’m not going to waste my time reading an article when no effort has been put into writing an interesting introduction.
It doesn't look legit as you did not show the entire originality AI score, instead you typed a number in excel leading to suspicion. Moreover, you have referral codes below in description. SOMETHING FISHY!!
There's a significant difference between generating content from an AI tool, and testing this; and passing your own human work through an AI tool to be reworded. Detection is more interested in the first usage of AI; and not so much in the second usage, as this is what spell-checkers and Grammarly do anyway.
