To the random person scrolling through the comments - hey there! I think you dropped this 👑'go ahead put it on omg you look amazing! You should definitely wear it all the time and keep your head up so it doesn't fall again! You are an awesome person and can change the world, I believe in you!❤️
Here's another freaky ability for you. Goldfish's and catfishes can breath air, for a few hours, depending on how high the humidity in the air is. They can filter air through the water on their gills, for as long as they remain wet. Other fishes, usually last a matter of minutes and yet, they, chad that they are, can pull it off. There's a record of a goldfish surviving 13 hours out of water. It's incredibly stressful for the fish and they don't do it by choice. For goldfish, it usually happens when the fish gets scared and it jumps out of the water. For catfish, it's when the oxygen in the water drops too low.
The mantis shrimp should have been on this list. Not only do they have the strongest punch of any animal(relative to its size) , but also eyes that are more developed than any other animal in the world.
When my brother is watching unnecessary videos in RU-vid, my dad says ''Watch BE AMAZED it is a channel where you can actually learn something instead of these nonsense'' in very powerful voice. Love the narrator in this video your channel is super awesome!
I would imagine that the immortal jellyfish is being researched by scientist. If not, they need to because it might help with raising lifespans by a considerable amount.
It's the only animal to do the re-zygote thing to bypass natural aging. The barrier is how to apply that to complex life and eventually apply that to humans, using that to kill old age (and thus death by it). That also applies to other medical miracles and led to stem cell research, a thing that became attacked by The Stupid for "reasons" because money and power interests always throw The Stupid at things as an effective weapon.
Its not quite immortal. The maximum amount observed by humans has been 5 resets. Resets meaning it goes back to its first form to start life over right from the beginning. This isnt normal behaviour either. Most of them will live and die. Its only when they get stressed do they revert back to that stem like form.
10:28 I don’t know where you got that explanation of frost bite, but not only is it wrong, but it doesn’t even make sense. The death of tissue due to frost bite is because the cells freeze and two things then happen. 1) the cells expand and break like a can of soda left in the freezer and 2) ice crystals form in them and rip them apart from the inside during the expansion.
Been a while since I heard this narrator. Not since that Worst Roles you Could Be Assigned in World War 2 video. Good to see you narrating videos again.
A note to people who think Chameleons Change colour to blend in: Chameleons don't actually change there colours so much they change colours to show emotion, show off and get a mate there colours usually are variations of greens and browns
I hope scientists can do something from the sea or the land life to heal people from their scars. Like the fish life that can camouflage with other things around their surroundings and other land creatures that can also do other things to.
fun fact in relative to the animal . . small intsects tend to be way stronger than other larger animals . . and that is related a few adwantages that come along with their tiny size like lower mass and more efficient muscles . . it is quite fascinating topic . . that also deals with the oposite problem
Agreed, animals are super Awsome, and I recalled a lot of these animals from the Wild Kratts, loved those guys, and wow still truly amazes me how wild and skilled these animals are!
My boys absolutely loved that show. We have pretty much every episode saved in the DVR still today. We saw them live as well. I learned so much from The Kratt bros by default. I remember being on a boat on vacation at a lake, and my (then) 3yo son randomly told everyone that a basilisk lizard can run on water. I think every child should watch that show 💕 But even the Kratt brothers didn’t teach some of these amazing creatures powers heard here
@@jessmcnulty3043 yeah I love the brothers since I was a kid, and while it is a kids show, still love watching the brothers in action, still cool facts to learn, and yeah as I said, animals are amazing.
Entirely positive - unless you can name or show me any bodybuilder who can move 1.100x their bodyweight. For reference: A 120kg person needs to be able to move 132.000kg for this. I don't even know any strongman/-woman who can do this, let alone any bodybuilder.
Octopus, squid, and cuttlefish r some of the wildest creatures!!?? Their ability to change color, shape, and texture almost instantly to camouflage themselves has gotta be 1 of the most unreal things in the world!!?? It's such a crazy alien trait on crazy alien animals!? They r so smart too it's insane!? They're almost like real life aliens on earth!!?? They're so intelligent and can basically instantly disappear into the environment and they're the only group of animals that van do it so fast and so effectively!? They can hide almost anywhere instantly!!? They're definitely one of the top amazingly successful Predators in the world!? They're designed so perfectly fir their environment....kinda like cats on land!?
I was watching a documentary about an Australian zoo, or a zoo somewhere where they had that mimic bird. I remember in it someone had taught the male a really loud noise and he was mimicking it. Also what they do when it comes to mating season they go through their repertoire and choose the sounds they like to use as a mating call. I remember the keepers hoping that the bird didn't choose that really loud sound.
4:40 I wonder if the Paradise Tree Snake's ability to glide while moving in a serpentine pattern Inspired the movements the Wyvern does in Sonic Frontiers (Only without the claws, laser emitters, laser breath, holographic path, eyes on the head, and missiles)
I’m obsessed with nature stuff so I knew half of these already. When I was 3-6 I watched Octuonats (or however you spell it but it has a cartoon polar bear who saves aquatic animals and teachs irl fact about them) then 6-10 I watched Wylde Kratts a lot. Now I watch every single nature documentary on Netflix and Disney Plus… I also am pretty good at retaining the information from the past 10 years of educational nature shows.
Re: The Lyrebird and the Raven etc.: It's not the only one that can mimic sounds. The North American Mockingbird has been known to mimic not just bird calls, but also various other sounds it hears. I used to have one near me that mimicked the sound of a car alarm.
Ich hätte auch gerne einen zahmen Raben... So schöne und tolle Vögel, doch besser sie bleiben frei und in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum und nicht in einen Käfig auch wenn das bedeutet das ich niemals einen haben werde.
Heres an interesting fact:Clownfish are all born male but when they become old enough, one decides or chooses to transform into a female in order to reproduce!!! The female then grows twice as large as the male!!! Whoa😮😮😮😮
I'm sorry to say this but dung beetles are not just the strongest bugs in the world or insects. You also have the category of ants and some hornets who can literally unscrew a screw from a wall of concrete. Just putting facts out there. The dung beetle is part of a group of bugs insects that are stronger than most. Mammals they can carry more than their own weight Don't just point out a certain animal is stronger than another. They have equal strength towards and with other animals and insects.
