In Australia we stuck for 5hrs due to a flight cancellation. They only gave us a discount food voucher. lol… Do you think people will ever react like this in those countries?? If so they can be jailed including this woman!! 😂
These things can happen in any country. Blaming a country and its national carrier cause your connecting flight got cancelled is quite unproffesional. Imagine you being behind those counters where certain indian fellas are heralding abuse? how would you manage it?
Agreed! End of May I was flying from Columbus Ohio to Chicago enroute to Qatar. American Airlines canceled my flight with no explanation. Got me on to another flight to Chicago later that day. This specific flight had an unannounced tarmac delay. Made me miss all my connecting flights. Had to stay in a hotel in Chicago. AA gave me $12 for a meal.😂😂 Thank you AA What do I say now. Never fly AA😢

@islander_kool_kat Lol...True. 🙂 Blaming anyone won't help. Air travel has become very chaotic. I mentally and physically prepare myself before I journey across the globe. During the holidays people are strandard for days. That's the reality of some of these larger airports.
My God may be your experience in travelling is far less. This is common in many airlines. Some big Airlines cancel the trip and to recover that money you only need travel insurance. Indians who are shouting think they are superior or what. Have they even travelled with any other airlines at all. A flight being delayed and from that you judge an entire country and its people. Please keep your judgement to yourself. People with less travel experience post these sorts of unprofessional content.

Kudos to Sri Lankan airlines ground handling staff. As you rightly subtitled that A hole seems so entitled and not allowing staff to do their job. He can take some other airline if he could. I don’t believe he has other option but Sri Lankan. I also agree you could have slightly changed the title and won some genuine Sri Lankan hearts. Sri Lankan airlines staff provides you with the best hospitality, despite the challenges, if not for the poor management of Sri Lankan airlines by political henchmen, it would be the best in Asia.
This happens in any country, It is normal. I have experienced in flying. Anyway, we have to consider our loopholes and need to be short it out and go smarter.

Without telling full story, don't blame anyone, Sri Lankans are no.1 in hospitality. Our service is far superior compared to other nations in the region, our people are humble then this average Indians, so don't try to blame by using small incident, if you don't want to fly in srilankan you can choose any other airline but doing propaganda against is not acceptable.
She as a customer has a right. Sri Lankan Airlines begs for passengers in the UK, Europe and Gulf to buy tickets and fly with them. The average Indians are going to run your airline pretty soon. First learn to respect other people's opinions, this is the reason Sri Lanka is in this mess and had to beg for fuel,medicines and other essentials a couple of years ago. Whether like it or not Sinhala people are very racist, I know having experienced many times in Sri Lanka on my visits. Also without knowing facts just don't give gibberish talk, have you been to Indonesia? Philippines or Brunei? They are very hospitable people too, very pleasant people particularly Indonesians who are lovely non-racist people I have met ever in my life. Fyi: I have travelled to more than 50 countries and five continents. I make my views and judgment based on past experiences, not a keyboard traveller.

If you made the payment to SL airlines through a credit card or another card, please dispute it and get the full amount. I disputed my entire amount of $953 paid to Sri Lankan airlines on American Express and got a full refund.
Sometimes passangers also behave like imbeciles, if the airline had a way to pack these screaming people they would . It s not like Sri Lanka wants these people here. While passangers have a right to expect a best service these delays occur to unavoidable circumstances. This can happen anywhere anytime and it is usually the ground staff who have to face these abuses by some unruly passangers. And lady you got a luxury room on the expenditure of the airline.

Omg this sounds about right! I had a bad experience with this airline as well 2 years ago. I did a transit here. They delayed a little and then the transit flight, the systems were down and then on the the flight, they had overbooked people, they had to sort settings etc. It was crazy! I will never fly with them again! 😅

These things happen everywhere and nothing out of the world. I often have flight delays to Chicago. But here, this incident is loud and standing out because of the Indians... We all know how noisy a situation gets when pjeets are around.
