This was so dope. Imagine starting when you could walk and having a sparing partner since then, who is as good as you, but different enough so that it's a challenge? No wonder these brothers are gonna take over the world.
Our previous video about grappling has gained 2.5 million views in just a couple of weeks, along with positive feedback. So, we've decided to continue sharing stories about submission artists. With your support, we hope to make jiu-jitsu (both gi and no-gi) clips a regular feature on our channel. Moreover, ONE promotion has introduced regular grappling champions on par with MMA champions.
The FloGrappling channel garnered a lot of interest recently with the Ryan Galvao superfight promo. That's when I heard about the Ruotolo Bros and got more interested in BJJ, I'm sure I'm not alone. I like it more than MMA now.
Not only has this channel been incredibly well written, and produced since day 1, the coverage of combat styles has diversified to spectacular levels. You're consistent, accurate and feature the career making deep cuts of fighters that are all important to their story and the reason we're all interested in them. Understanding a fighter with the substantial context you provide is a massive aide to those wanting to better understand combat sports. Incredibly well done as always, and keep us guessing. Thank you.
His takedowns are so underappreciated. Well coached and trained wrestling body locks and takedowns for the sole purpose of enhancing BJJ is such a thing of beauty.
@@Bouldah Yeah, watching this highlight and going through several of his other matches he does seem to enter into clinches and change levels in a way that leaves himself very exposed. Defensive knees and step back 1-2s are the first things to come to mind just with how he leads with his head position. Only time will tell, and hopefully a solid coaching staff will fix these things.
Show me the proof that his takedowns are not appreciated show me all these articles written about how his takedowns are nothing but the rest of his game is awesome come on buddy are you just like slurping nuts
Kade and his brother is what the grappling world needs. Even though I do Judo and BJJ myself, I'm not the biggest fan watching grappling matches, but those two boys are super exciting. No butt-scooting or position holding point collecting nonesense, just pure action. Quite excited for his transition to MMA.
Kade and Tye* , if you’ve been following them for a while, tye has actually been there better grappler the whole time until late 21’ Kade hit a diff knotch
@@soulimmortal8487Yeah striking skills are definitely needed. Kade’s style is perfect for mma, and he won’t have any issues in the grappling department
I legitimately have to watch this kid at 25% speed to fully understand how he does what he does, he's like Vasiliy Lomachenko but in BJJ. Like watching Loma is like watching art, his moves look like they're choreographed because they're that fluid and perfectly timed when he's in the zone. That's exactly how I feel watching this kid. Thank you for introducing us to him!😊
It's not only that he excels at jiu-jitsu, it's also the fact that ALL his matches are entertaining to watch. Any time he is on a card I know it's going to be fire. Same goes with Roberto Jimenez to be honest.
I’m speechless watching him roll on the mats.. he is so crazy fast and OFCOURSE so nimble.. and I don’t see cockiness I see confidence and him wanting to be the absolute best in the world.. YES THE WORLD!!!! So much fun to watch and see how he sets everything up and lightening fast.. he will be #1 and stay there for a very long time.. love to see him in the UFC some day.. I wonder how good his stand up is and how far could go?? Be interesting for sure!!!!
These guys are so good. I was doing Gracie jujitsu, shooto and catch wrestling 30 years ago. The sport has evolved so much. These guys are light years ahead of where I was
I had to scour the internet for randomly uploaded highlight clips to learn new moves in the late 2000s. If youtube existed during our days, we probably would have been better. This guys situational awareness seems phenomenal though
This is the power of starting martial arts young, growing a passion for it, and having a training partner (brother) to consistently practice and perfect your technique. A perfect blend to create one of the world's best grapplers at 19 years old! Amazing stuff that God creates. He is like the Mozart of BJJ.
Little monster man. Proud of you go USA baby. You and your brother great representations and y'all are beautiful kids man. Parents get applauded for doing such a great job. You seem really real well well well rounded
I just started BJJ, but this video had me super hyped at the Boonsdocks theme. Still a very inspirational video. Congrats to Ruotolo and the much deserved attention.
lol, the first time i saw cade ruotolo, when he won that flograppling tournament, it was so obvious that he was a beast...and he looks bigger and stronger and maybe even faster now! i'd LOVE to see him do some one championship mma fights.
this is maybe the most awe-inspiring video doc on this amazing young guy, and of course all the others with him here. Nicely put together. Exciting stuff!
Yes no doubt the future and the present representation of BJJ/Grappling is climbing to a higher level. One Championship is by far the #1 promotion that is as all inclusive as you can get regarding Martial Arts competition. Good job guys 👍🏽
The most impressive thing about him that everyone is missing, is his conditioning and preparation. Absolutely mind boggling. Even as an amateur I can tell that he has put in an incalculable amount of man hours into his craft.
At 8-16 It’s cool that they’re not out to injure each other just inflict pain which is beautiful! I don’t really follow submission wrestling or submission underground! This video just change that wow‼️🇨🇦
