Pete, that Milwaukee drill was the best 1/2" medium duty hammer drill ever made. I would take it any day over some light weight cordless tools doing daily contractor work. Almost impossible to wear out and takes a beating. A premium level tool worth good money

Funko Pops have peaked.

I never got into Funko Pops because they just seemed like a dumb fad. Everyone I know who buys them never actually opens up the boxes. This means a lot of people are taking good care for them because it's more of an investment than it is for enjoyment. The market is saturated like you said but that saturation also includes a huge market of unopened, good condition, 2nd hand sellers. So yes I think it's like Bennie Babies but even worse since people didn't always take care of their bennie babies.

The company sent 30-36 million dollars worth of Funco Pops to a landfill in Ar. so they didn't have to pay rent on shipping containers that were full of them that weren't selling to save on rent just a few months ago.

The only people who say stay with Funko pops are those that have invested in them. There will be the odd ones that hold value but but I would stay away from them now, it's a fad.

I guess you may have already found this out about your Gripman's bell, but I thought I would share this with you: "The Conductor rings a small bell to communicate with the Grip Operator. The Grip Operator rings a large bell to warn pedestrians and other vehicles." So you had conductor's bells in the past, but the one you just bought was a larger Gripman's bell.

I really think the Funko pops are just oversaturated - their own org I believe dumped a ton of them. I personally think if you buy them for a dollar, sell for $5-10 seems reasonable. They are super cool, and I like a few of them, but the days of them being "really expensive" is gone IMO unless someone is willing to pay of course!

The last few flea markets I've been to had 2-3 different vendors selling almost nothing but Funko Pops, tables upon tables full. Seems like there's an awful lot of them on the market. I've never paid attention to them, never had an interest. I even see them from time to time at the thrift stores.

I have never understood the appeal of the Funko Pop collectibles. I think they are ugly and not great likenesses. Plus I agree with you , Pete, that the market is pretty much flooded and the Funko bubble will burst.

Funko pops are over saturated. They have one for damn everyone you can imagine plus variants. I use to like them but stopped buying them because they take up too much room to display even out of the box. They’ll be around for a long time but 99% of them will be considered commons and worth nothing.

I identified Pops as junk as soon as they came out. Any product made to be collected usually is no longer collectable after a time. Every hobby store, garage sale and game store I've been in have walls of them that I never see anyone give a second glance towards.

Peter- I think the market is flooded with the FunCo items. I am seeing them here for like $2.00 at garage sales. In my opinion it may be worth buying very select ones and blow out the rest. As you said, it's likely becoming like Beanie babies. I am seeing them here at G sales for anywhere from free to a max of $5.00, $3.00 being the average. None of which I would consider "desirable" are turning up. Just my $.02 worth. I love how the bell didn't even faze Sweetie. My cats ran when they heard that bell ring. Take Care. Funko is very hit or miss. I do see them as junk as you only have so much room to collect plastic dolls. They will go the direction of the Beanie Baby eventually if not already. I know people that had collected them in the past but have sold off their collections do to needed space for other stuff or due to market saturation.

Milwaukee half inch drill typically USED for drilling into concrete cordless - it's also missing the removable slide grip, you really need to have that you need to lock onto it or you're going to break your wrist... especially handy if you have to retrofit slabs with some tie down bolts... want to turn something into a bearing wall... the cord is also replaceable... I'm a girl I don't use it as much as I used to ---but not every guy I hire for labor actually has, the specialty Bits or a half-inch drive drill... want to put up some burglar bars.. bolt something onto a cement block fence... how many batteries do you have and how long do you have to recharge them...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES

I think your $5 to $15 price range, averaging $10 each, is perfectly reasonable compared to what so many unrealistic online sellers are asking, but there are so many surplus Funko Pops now and for every movie, TV show, nostalgic TV commercial, etc. to the point that I think the market is saturated. I suppose if one was to buy any Funko Pops at all, stick to iconic horror movie characters perhaps or movie icons that physical media collectors might want for their media room shelves or man caves, but there are just too many of those things. The choice is up to you, of course.

For Funko pops, look at their stock price (Symbol:FNKO). It's down 69% in the past year. I would say stop buying them. It was a bubble that has popped.

Pops is dying. There are some specials that people will collect...but they are a dead issue. If you buy...offer a buck each.

Funko Pops are dumb IMHO. If there was one of a character that I liked, then I might fork over a couple of bucks, but that is unlikely in a retail environment.

perfect buy on the bell l I seen a couple of smaller ones in slight better condition going for 350 never have I seen one that size just because of that the damage it shouldn't really matter I could see you having no problem flipping that for 480 to 520.

I think for Funko Pops, is that when it comes to reselling, it's probably more sustainable to only buy and resell the exclusive/rare ones. The ones that, like you said, had limited releases. All the other ones are going to forever be stuck in the $5-$15 range. If I had a lot of people consistently buying the cheaper ones, it could be worth it. I still know a lot of people who collect and resell Funkos. It's usually not their main source of income, they usually sell other stuff along side the Funkos, but I honestly think that Funkos are going to be around for a while. If I were reselling funkos, I would stay away from the ones you can get at your common retailers like target and walmart and all those places.

As a dj,those random wooden instruments are insane base and leads for most ,dirtiest, distorted,base lines, layered with sub base,at same time sample it as lead layer so kn.those are hot,and can go fast and high.

My spouse worked for a company in the 1980s that manufactured trolleys and we ended up with two trolley bells. I sold both on Ebay and shipped them. I just can't remember what I sold them for. I believe at least $100 but could have been more.

funko pops have come and gone.....we are in a full blown recession teetering on a depression. if that is not obvious to people by now not sure what to say to ya. first things to go are collectibles. and they were just a fad

I am a funko reseller on whatnot and just started reselling last year. First i started with my personal collection then only new and exclusive releases. Shortly transitioned into older gen and exclusives only. As an up and comer it can feel saturated and harder to sell now a days. Just like pokemon people flock to the funkos as if its a "quick easy buck" then those same people rush to sell things and make no profit therefore crashing the market. So many pops arent worth much anymore unless theyre convention exclusives or "grails" which feel as if everyone only collects the same 5 pops lol. But they arent dying definitely benefits the box stores/ brick and mortar sellers who may have a distributor to cut costs.

I know this was a while ago but Funko is definitely done. I have a good friend who sells vintage games at conventions and people who used to sell those over retail are now bundling them for next to nothing, plus Funko sent like $30million worth of them to a landfill because of excessive overstock

A lot of new Funko Pops are overproduced but there are still some excellent grails to find out there. Usually anything before 2016 is good.

Funko Pops as a whole have been over produced and large majority are not gonna be worth over 5 bucks. As far as a collector or re seller the value is gonna be with the stuff that has cult followings, big or small. For example Breaking Bad funkos will hold their value because people love the show/characters which drives up the demand. No more Breaking Bad ones are being made so the prices shot up. Another examples is Regular Show. When the licensing is over and no more merchandise is being mass produced but it still has a core fan base, those collectibles prices go up.

POPS-Yes, way over saturated, the very first ones may be worth something down the road. Love Your Show Pete!

As far as Funko POPS! goes that is what helped me start my resale business in 2018 I found my self starting to collect them and thought the market was way to saturated and they were producing way to many so I sold everyone I had in about 2020. I am amazed that it has held up as long as it has. I have bought some since after checking comps. If I were you I would purchase the old ones from 2015 and older after checking comps of course but I assume anything after that isn't very limited will hold no value for very long.

I used to buy them and quit cause you pay a lot for it at the start and then you stuck with them forever seems like. last time I got Funko Pop Star Wars mandalorian new in new zealand was $25 NZD but some can cost alot more I'm not a reseller but yes the price's on POPS might be falling

That cable car bell sure sounds just like those used on San Francisco cable cars! You should definitely hang it on a wall in the checkstand area which your employees could ring to call an employee to the checkstand. When I worked for Trader Joe’s back in the 1970’s, we had a ships bell in the checkstand (we only had one large checkstand with multiple cash registers back then) to call another checker to checkstand (one ding), manager (two dings) or box boy (three dings). They still use this system today.

Funko Pops have a huge amount of overstock, and will be sending 36 million dollars worth of their product to landfills. Depending on the type though, some existing/future products of theirs will still be very popular/desirable.

I think Funko Pops are a waste of time. Exactly like Cabbage Path Kids, Pongs, Beni babies, pokemon. The youth sees something around Christmas time, they spread like an illness and everyone wants them. As soon as the young people grow up they drop off. Leaving a few favorite collectibles behind and worth money 30 years later.

Personally, I'd 100% stop buying the Funkos. Even the "limited" ones are essentially half-assed junk when you think about it, sure there will be buyers but FINDING that buyer isn't an easy thing either. Spend your time and storage space on bigger and better items, even if it's within the collectible realm still.
