I see this lots of times and experience it. See it from another perspective. If human didn't have these social attributes like feeling bad or beginning to smile when you haven't see someone after a long time. These integrated social human interaction is something that might make the world stable. Sometimes yes, these leaders can destory someone or and employe's hart. But many people try to even do better after or refrain for losing that miljon dollars bc of the possible consequences. This system makes people after generations a tribe or culture. That is why when you are different or are used to communicating in a different way with each other, it doesn't get socially accepted. So yes, not blaming someone else for you feeling is the right way, because the boss itself might not intend to make you feel extra bad. But want things to happen accordingly in to which no bad consecuence for him occurs. (Fear and "reward") Same as why there are punishments in law. But asking the leaders to watch it and change their ways of reaction is not the only option. Asking the oppressed to change their reaction could also change the outcome of your feeling. It's a issue I've been thing about a lot. Who is the one to blame? The employee who wasted 1 million dollars of the boss (accidentally) or the boss who gave him the responsibily and gave him a bad feeling. Action -> Reaction. It's make the world stable. But not all actions or reaction are correct. It's just the way how we are and behave. Good TED talk, hopefully it helps the bosses that fail in what might be enhancing their job and way of communication. Know this -> It's pure politics in the end, fear and reward in interacting with people in a certain way.
