Unblocking a clogged manhole

I have been to this property before and there seems to be a pattern forming, I decided to get the camera out and check out the drains after I did the cleaning and there is a bit of standing water here and there and of course quite a few joints giving the possibility of Debris snagging on the exposed ridges. what to do next time? I will go in from the opposite direction with the camera and see if I can find the area that is getting blocked up.

Hi Tony. You said that you couldn't smell the crap in the blockage. Curious to know if it is only the drains that you can't smell or is it smells in general. After almost 40 years at the job I wouldn't be surprised if your nose at some stage said " That's it, I've had enough." Sue, expat from Adelaide, South Australia. 👃👃👃

Hi Sue I generally cant smell it but I am affected by rotting sewage it is a putrid noxious gas thats released. Thank you and have a great new year

I often wonder what the background noises are. Especially in this video. A snapping noise. Takes away from the video. I had to turn the volume off.

When I'd got the corona two times I totally lost my smell and taste, and I'd been thinking about starting a drain cleaning business if that situation persisted. But everytime they came back after the infection :D

@@drain-unblocker its a rip off down London way. Starting at £140 ex VAT. But if you do 2 or 3 jobs a day your side thats good money. Cant get too many jobs in a day down here because you have traffic slowing you down all day.

they put manholes in people's yards in england ? In america, they're not in neighborhood. They're in the middle of streets in cities.

The English system of manholes seems much superior to whatever I see on the US and Australian sites. The German system is beautiful to watch, with its age and engineering.
