An ode in four parts.
The first part is played by stirring woodwinds, a male choir, and a powerful brass section which pulses with increasing intensity. It gives the impression of sweeping landscape with distant mountains.
The second part begins at 1:43 where trumpet and french horn evoke feelings of majestic mountains or a victorious hero.
At 3:14 a sweeping string section is joined by taiko drums to perform a melody that conjures to mind a powerful, yet gentle procession.
The conclusion at 4:46 features clarinet and french horn, intertwining into a melody that resolves the piece with a feeling of hope. The piece ends with a lonely french horn calling out a final, resolving note.
