Well, I DID IT!! I ordered a planner, found the best one to cover all my needs, and all thanks to you! I am excited to say I have ordered the Unbound Planner to test out for 2020! I look forward to being able to keep everything in one place. I would love to see a financial component too, that would cover ALL the basis, but , regardless, I think it will be EXCELLENT! thank you for the reviews, always informative! Mary
I am currently on my second unbound planner - I absolutely love it. I have had one undated and one dated. I think the changes they made for 2020 will make it even more functional. I totally agree with you that the guidance throughout the planner is very very helpful, and some weeks I do follow and use as intended, but there is enough flexibility to adjust it depending on my priorities each week. I looove the extra to do list page for each week and now the added pages for the months! My only only things would be maybe to have the months all together in the front and add an elastic band, but I'm still definitely considering this for my 2020 planner, and appreciate the discount code opportunity! I'm so glad you are able to share this planner to your channel audience as I think it's a planner that continues to deserve more attention and praise 🤗🤗
Thanks for taking time to share your feelings Diane! I love hearing from users of a planner;) And I agree this planner needs more attention and praise;) I also agree that a band would be good.
Hi Diane. Annie from Unbound. Thank you for the kind words. We're honored to hear that our planner has worked so well for you! As we hopefully continue to grow, we hope to add an elastic band (at this point our manufacturer only offers black and white). And I like the idea of the months all together. Our undated planner does this so this is something we will definitely consider.
This planner has been my 2019 planner and I have really loved it! I’ve made so much progress - it’s amazing! Did I achieve all my goals? No, but I achieved many of them and made significant progress on almost all of them - and I had a lot! I’m excited to try the new monthly planning pages and I’m so glad they added the back pocket! (I wish they’d add an elastic band, but I make do with some from Erin Condren). Thanks for the thorough review - I have to echo your assessment of the planner’s ability to lay flat when open, and I can vouch for its durability - I carry it everywhere and it still looks great (people at work always ask me about it). I really like that it has numbered pages and I can write my own table of contents in the front so I know right where to turn for the notes I took at a coalition meeting or the ideas I jotted down for our upcoming project. It also has a mid-year review which I find helpful. Unfortunately, I ordered my 2020 planner last week, and didn’t get to use your discount code :( . Oh well. Thanks for a great review! You made me excited to dig in to my new planner when it arrives!
Hi Karen:) Thank you for sharing all your thoughts. I really appreciate hearing from a user of Unbound:) I agree with all you've commented on; and how did I forget the mid-year review! Bummer! Thanks for bringing that to my attention;) I am sorry you bought it before my code came out, but obviously its well worth it to you;)
Hi Karen. Annie from Unbound. We appreciate your kind words! We hear you on the elastic band. Currently our manufacturer only offers black and white, but once they can match the color of the band to the color of the book cover we plan to add it. Glad to hear you're able to make something work in the meantime.
Amanda, another great review. I just purchased PowerSheets and I am currently using Happy Planner for my scheduling but I LOVE this planner and how it is laid out. I feel the work I have done in PowerSheets will go nicely with the Unbound system. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are awesome.
I just wish that they had gone with either a Sunday start or a Monday start, not mixed where the month is a Sunday start but the weeks are a Monday start.
Hi Angela! Annie from Unbound. Thanks for your feedback. We get it. Start days are important. The reason we set it up the way we have is because it's what's most common in the US and therefore, what most people expect. But not everyone, of course. If you're interested, we do offer undated planners as an option for people who prefer to have their start days different than what our dated planners offer.
@@unboundplanner4921 I agree, I prefer the Monday start as most busness planners (even here in USA), but it's the mix of Sunday start for monthlies and Monday start for weeklies that makes me pass on this otherwise well designed journal.
It really looks awesome. It reminds me of Passion Planner but this is more detailed as far as the goals are concerned. A beautiful combination of goals with the vertical weekly spread. I just subscribed to their mailing list & they have sent a link for the free pdf download for November. I am waiting to try it out.
Hi J.S.! Annie from Unbound. We're excited you're giving us a try! We feel the best way to know if something will work for you, is to actually use it. We will also have our December pdf available soon. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter if you're interested.
I loved this planner last year and I love it this year! If it had a few hundred blank pages for journaling, I’d be a devotee. As it is, I can’t give up my Hobonichi Cousin for the journal+planner functionality. But I love everything else about this planner!
smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KRPFHIS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's just a Pilot fountain pen from Amazon and says Fine Nib. I am sorry I don't know much about fountain pens. That link is to the exact pen I have;)
I know Annie is reading these comments and who knows if that might be an addition in the coming year;) In the mean time so many companies make bands like Erin Condern and you can pick those up at Staples or Amazon sometimes too. Thanks for sharing your wish for the Unbound planner;)
Hi Emma! Annie from Unbound. Thank you for your feedback. We agree that an elastic band would be a great addition. Unfortunately, our manufacturer only offers the elastic band in black or white and we believe this would take away from the beauty and simplicity of the planner. However, as we continue to grow, our hope is to add an elastic band to match the cover colors. Stay tuned!
I just love your reviews!! I just ordered an undated one in sage-but it wouldn’t let me use your code. Which is ok-just thought I’d let you know. Thank you for how you explain the planners you review-makes me want to just buy them all!!! 🌷
Hi Terri:) I just wrote to Annie over at Unbound. And she said my code is working...she checked. She said if you can give me your email address and order number she would apply the discount for you. You can email me that information at amandasfavorites@whitleyspace.com Thanks for taking time to share and letting us know you had an issue;) I hope you love your Unbound! Love the undated option, that's a great way to test it out and not waste pages:)
Amanda, Sorry I added the comment to the wrong place. repost I am looking to get better org. in 2020. I am a computer nerd, runner, home improvement, grandkid loving grandpa. I am looking at Unbound or Ink+volt. I have watched a lot of your videos. Question to you if you were going to give advice to a first time planner/goal setting person, knowing I am going to buy Unbound or Ink+volt which would you recommend? I will be using it for home projects, computer work (professional) church, health and training and possibly start journaling for life history. Loaded question eh? Unbound or Ink+volt?
Hello! Planner newbie here and hoping for some guidance. After a ton of research and watching lots of Amandas videos I think I have it narrowed down to Golden Coil in a weekly format or Unbound weekly. I wish there was one that was a blend of the 2. I love the structured and guided goal planning of the Unbound, but the coil style and customization of the Golden Coil in terms of the weekly layouts and add on pages. Anything that achieves both or any suggestions from people who have tried both?
Hi:) Golden Coil you can add on some goal planning pages Monthly to help keep you on track...and pick a weekly with a habit tracker. But you are right it's not as guided as Unbound. There is not really one that is a coil that is exactly like Unbound. But MäksēLife comes close to unbound in a coil form. Have you watched that video? It's very guided like Unbound...and goal focused...but much bigger with a coil.
@@AmandasFavorites thanks for replying! I did look at Maskelife-they are too big for me. But, I was just looking at Plum. Actually seems like a great blend, but I don't see any reviews by you on that brand. What are your thoughts?
I have a Plum Paper Playlist, but I haven't gotten anything new to review in more than a year....probably longer. I just got a Plum paper box with 3 different planners and their folio! The review will be going up mid-february:)
MakseLife is thick....but just 7x9 pages. If you need a truly portable planner I am not sure you would want to go with it. But it does have a sturdy cover and band to hold it shut. I guess it depends on how portable you need your planner to be;) I do have a new $10 OFF your FIRST order from MakseLife Code: AMANDA10
Hi there. Annie from Unbound. Yes, what day the weeks/months start on is important and everyone has there own preferences! We get it. The reason we do a Sunday start for the months and a Monday start for the weeks is because this is what is most common and therefore expected in the U.S. Maybe someday we'll be able to add options:) We also do have an undated planner where you can choose your start days, in case you're interested in checking that out:)
Thank you a nice planner and from those of us that are not in US being able to download is great as much as I love MakseLife this may be an option. mmmm
