I just bought a 30% off belt. I could not find any flaws in the belt. The leather is the softest I have ever had in a belt. Not sure if that is good or bad for its longevity. Its already my favorite belt,
The special edition Texas Wild Alligator boots they sold were amazing. Yes, they were almost $5K, but they were *wild alligator.* That's just what it costs.
Thanks for the video. I’ve watched all of you cowboy boot series and they were all very helpful. Just picked up a walled from your scratch and dent sale. Keep up the good work!
When are you bringing back the cowboy boots series? There is so many other brands to cut open like Rios Anderson Bean, Justin, Dan Post, as well as some box stores brands. You can easily make two more rounds of the series.
I have 2 pairs of Chisos boots. No 1 in black and No 2 in brown. I had to return the first pair to go up half a size. Then the 2nd pair I knew the size to order. My Chisos are a half size bigger than my Red Wings and a full size bigger than my Whites. Chisos customer service was great.
Need a pair of these! I also want that camera strap you sell. Btw, that brand on the “imperfect” leather would make a cool…something. To me, that’s pretty unique and cool.
I have #1s 10.5 D and love them! Fit perfect and the most comfortable cowboy boot I've ever owned. I went down a half size as I usually wear an 11 in athletic shoe.
I bought a brown pair pre-Covid. My only complaint was they turned my white socks a shade of red. When I shared this with Will, he sent me three pairs of black socks gratis. So then I bought a black pair of boots, too. I can attest to the quality of the boots and their customer service. As for knives, that automatic knife looks like it has a blade that’s too long to be legal here in California. That’s why my automatic knife from Kershaw has a blade that’s 1.9 inches long.
I bought a pair and man let me tell yeah they really hurt my feet, sadly I had to return them, man I wish they would’ve fit me better, they smelled and felt so good.
Tried chisos once. One of the boots was a 9D and one was clearly a 9EE marked as a 9D. I returned them and was charged return shipping even though it was their mistake (and I didn't want to exchange because of the clear quality control issues).
They have a Facebook group and one of the chief complaints is the sizing and QC issues...at that price point they should be damn well close to perfect and shouldn't charge return shipping on a clearly defective product. Your and others negative experience pretty have to date prevented me from buying a pair.
Bought a pair of rough out #2s from Chisos earlier this year after seeing you cut them in half. I got a size 12.5D and probably should have went with a EE but I just committed because of their return stipulations. No regrets, after 9 months of wear they fit me like a literal glove.
You need to actually look at beck boots they are made more traditional and actually use foot impressions in foam to size and make the cowboy boots according to those measurements
I know damn well I did not just see what I just saw... Never ever Cuff with cowboy boots on!! The sacrilege you just did! But now you know!!! Nice stepper by the way!
Weston, please review Fenoglio boots! They are so competitively priced for a boot made in the USA, but we need your review to see the quality of materials!
Is a "barefoot style" western boot possible? I understand that on cowboy boots/riding boots, the narrow toe is to easily fit into the stirrup, and the heel is so your foot doesn't go through. Could a western style boot be made without those features and be more foot friendly? These described features surely contribute to the style and iconic nature of cowboy boots, and could a boot even be made in this style without them? I love cowboy boots, but they are simply too hard on my feet to enjoy wearing
If you're wanna position yourself as a high-end bootmaker, then you need to offer more than just D and EE sizes. Any legitimate bootmaker knows and does this. Western boot fit can be very finicky, and a lot of folks find they need to order a size longer than usual, but in a narrower B width. I'm not saying Chisos boots aren't high quality. but if you want folks to pay those kinds of prices, then they need to allow for the opportunity to achieve an optimal fit.
I had a pair of Cody James cowboy boots with the foam insoles. I get they're not as nice as these, but all foam insoles kinda suck. They are swampy, smelly, and crumbly.
I used to agree, which is why I created my own. Leather-topped. Tested for wear over 12 months. I think you'll find that ours are different. Not made in China, made in Mexico. -Will
I was left very disappointed wirh Chisos. I had to return two pairs of the #2s. I got a refund, but QC is clearly an issue for them. The second pair i ordered was way worse than the first, wirh sloppy paint (burnishing?) and a super loose fit on one fit that would have lead to a broken ankle. I couldnt believe it made it in the box past QC.
When I think about the fact that these Golden Goose sneakers, this junk that was recently cut apart and then hopefully disposed of in a very deep pit, are more expensive than these boots...
LOL, you always second guess the sizing and end up screwing up. Beautiful boots, I like that toe shape too, but cowboy boots ain't for me, especially living in Europe.
Cowboy boots dont make sense to me. They look cool, but rub and hurt my feet worse than anything ive ever worn. Boots without laces or a way to tighten them dont work for me.
