In a cave, without sunlight, your circadian rhythm will go to a 36 hour cycle. The APA would probably argue that sleep is the most important necessity to good mental health, next is diet
I heavily recommend getting something like the Yeti Rambler with the Hotshot Cap (or anything similar with a waterproof cap), so that you can make Mudwtr (rise or rest), and shake it every time you take a sip. Works wonderfully to make sure sediment stays relatively mixed in.
I used to force feed myself Kratom, and that is vomit inducing. This stuff taste like a milkshake compared. I am very curious on the rest one. I'm not like into the whole "energy" enhancing. I would love to hear this helps sleep.
If you are interested in drinks that energize like coffee, but with out the crash I recommend trying a beet juice concentrate. It gives me hours of energy with no crash.
Valerian is a super strong smelling root. Its very effective for sleep but I can't get past the taste. I love your review here though. (If MUDWTR made a trial packet of REST, I'd buy it but I can 't see myself getting a whole can due to my valerian aversion). I love your other MUD video!!! Thanks!
not much valerian, can barely smell any nevermind taste, more tumeric wi cin, likely below effective dose as truly BARELY can make out a valerian smell IMO. which is why i dont think there is much in there as even whole root through a thick bag smells STRONG. pretty mild taste overall but i agree too much $$ for questionable amounts of mushrooms herbals. as ashwaganda is effective but is also called "horse root" as smells pretty STRONG of horses esp wi fresh quality stuff. If i was a betting man would say perhaps 25mg of ashwaganda extract ie ~1/15 of a dose. something is a little weird if tea extract is first ingredient and tastes weak and 3 grams of leaf makes a stronger tasting tea who knows im sure someone has researched what amounts are actually contained. whats weird is they SHOULD be saying eh guys passionflower is an MAOI although weak can affect many common medications from breaking down and increasse serum levels and many of which are very common in the demo of people who want to restrict caffeine.. perhaps included in FAQ but not something that should be in something thats marketed as a simple coffee/drink replacement and not a herbal supplement people would prob research prior and usually have labels saying consult physician do not take with medications etc etc... merry xmass
I only tried it for about a week before leaving for the holidays. But I came to enjoy the flavor a bit more as the week went on and slept well each night :)
@@jugaadityourself8950 Hmmm, I am enjoying your diy Mud!( making a double bulk batch soon). Shall I wait for your update(s)? I am interested to see what updates that you have in mind.Cheers! ☕️
I personally haven’t tried it, but I used to take valerian root to go to bed at times. And I think that smells really funky, so it might be that. And maybe Ashwagandha as I thought it also had a weird smell as well. Just saying ☺️
I woke up in jail one time, and there was a homeless man sleeping with his feet in my face.... before I flipped out on him,I thought to myself, his feet smell like valerian root... now I'm thinking if that's why I was sleeping so good...
@@christaanderson4929 it sucked at the moment.. but now it's funny and I can laugh about it... it was an learning experience and how many chances do you get to smell a homeless man's foot in your life?? I saw the opportunity and jumped on it...
I think the original (sunrise) version works because the cacao does a darn good job of mimicking the coffee texture and kick. And I make my own version of it as I have access to most of the core ingredients ( really just masala tea and cacao plus turmeric and cinnamon at its fundamental) And it works pretty well providing a steady, very comforting sustaining energy release even without the mushroom extracts. Looking at the evening version here, there seems to be less replication of the core 'coffee' texture and taste. I've had chamomile and ashwagandha as separate beverages before. However in this context, it seems counter productive to me to create such an elaborate combination for a beverage before sleep.
I definitely got that broth taste and feel when it was hot. I'll try the other recipes. If you have any tips to help remove that broth feel I would appreciate it
@@HoldLeadersAccountable I found out the broth taste comes from the valerian root. I use chocolate almond milk or any type of chocolate to help balance that out. You can also can control the sweetness by using your own chocolate. Not buying again here
@@lissablue176 It has been a very long time since I made chia, but I never used a recipe. I usually made very strong tea, much more strong than normal. And I let it steep with spices I mix. Usually, nutmeg, cloves & cinnamon & smaller amounts of other species. Then I would filter everything & add cream & vanilla. If the tea is not really strong I don't think it's very good, personally.
When I saw the ingredients in this they were things I never mixed together. I would never put cinnamon in a night tea. And I would not put cinnamon in my chamomile tea, or put chamomile in my chia.
People want chocolate and want to eat crap but want a fit body and yet when foods that are good for you are spoken about all they do is complain about them and watch more junk tv its Time to hit the gym and cowboy the duck up.
