Hi John Glad to hear you say that about this model. I am contemplating buying the Le Man's #19 version of this car, but I've read some negative comments on social media about how itw not exactly a carbon copy of the real car. Still a beautifully made model in my opinion that would look good on any mantlepiece!

@@brettrobinson4352 this is untrue, the model is a carbon copy of chassis 3809. This car suffered from a number of accident's over time altering it's shape somewhat. If you google the chassis number you will see photos of the real car.

@Matt le Roux - I'm sorry, but if you regard this exquisite hand made diecast model as "a toy", you clearly are unfamiliar with high end collectible diecast model cars. They are limited production, serial numbered and extremely detailed in their construction. Flawless paint jobs, real leather upholstery, stainless steel wire wheels, working suspension, opening hood, doors, trunk, fuel fillers and constructed from more than 1,800 individual pieces and all hand assembled. This very model CMC 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO is out of production and sold for $375 new, is now going for up to $1,900 on Ebay! A bit pricey for a toy, wouldn't you say!

@@Loulovesspeed Pricey, collectible, equisite detail, limited production... etc etc... All the boxes are checked. Flawless paint, etc. I'm 100% on board with the fine expostion of your logic here. But nonetheless, it is a toy. If not a toy, what would be the implicit classification, that is, if we need a label outside the colloquialism of "toy?" The price is irrelevant, as I do know some toys, like the ultra rare Beach Bomb by Hot Wheels can sell for exorbitant prices. It's still a toy. Because, semantics aside, when you open the hood, admire the suspension, open the doors and marvel at the interior detail you are playing with the car, albeit with a glove, to preserve the paint perhaps. How you define "playing" is also arbitrary, of course. You know, even "serious" collectors spend hours, pouring over the details. Is that research, or playing? Be mindful that toys, and "playing," is not relegated to the trite construct of cheap disposable items in a "toy store." Also, don't be fooled by arbitrary preoccupations with the "collectibles" nomenclature. It's a word devised to add value to a construct such as this, for monetary reasons, of course. It's not a real car, it's a model, and for some, like me, despite the value, and rarity, it remains a toy. There's really no need to convince me otherwise. Because we look at this with the same appreciation. And if it's any consolation, when I do" play" with my rare, or coveted die casts, it's more a case of rotating the display! This train of thought reminds me, I need to get a quad bike again, you know, "toys for big boys!" As a parting thought, always be wary of succumbing to some Ad Hominem, or even some false equivalence by adhering to trite assumptions like "clearly." But ok, I won't preach. In future, maybe consider asking me, rather than assuming? From my side, I will ask a question. Why was it so paramount to your experience of high end models to address my perceived ignorance? Even if we differ inasmuch semantics, or where perceived semantics might be concerned, why did it appear to "bother" you that I chose a certain subset of words to describe my experience regarding these models? This is something I find interesting!

@@mattlr01 - Well, for all your explanations as to what does or does not constitute a "toy", it really does come down to a matter of semantics. Opening doors, hood, trunk, etc. is not "playing" with it. It is simply examining it for the details that toys do not have. Look up Webster's definition of a toy and maybe you'll see what I am referring to and why. Some very high end models I have purchased say right on the box - This is not a toy! Then again, it sounds like your not going to deviate from your thoughts! Go get your quad bike toy and have fun playing with it. Lol

В следующем обзоре, увидишь ответ про перчатки) А по поводу перевёрнутого состояния, я там специальную тряпочку постелил, ничего не случилось со следами).
