Unboxing 15 New Snakes! (Mostly Hognoses)

'It's a Liopleurodon, Charlie. A magical Liopleurodon!' Gorgeous babies, Azi and Crowley are probably names from Good Omens. ❤

In corns, it's called anerythistic because the morph removes red pigment (erithrin), whereas in hognoses and ball pythons, it's called axanthic because the morph removes yellow pigment (xanthin). You also get anery in boas constructors, Kenyan sand boas, and milk snakes. 😊

I love that they have an Aziraphale and a Crowley! For those who don't know, those are the main characters in a book and TV show called Good Omens. Aziraphale is an angel and Crowley is a demon

The more snakes were unboxed and their morphs revealed, the more I was thinking "Yay, new bloodlines!" The breeding videos in spring are going to be INSANE. And do we really have more baby videos coming, in Nov/Dec? It's almost brumation time.

After the first Good Omens based name I was REALLY hoping they had Crowley too 😂 We got Crawley which is almost better for a snake Also “It’s a liopleurodon Charlie, a magical liopleurodon!”

What a fun surprise seeing Charles' unboxing this morning! 😊 He's been a dreamboat of a snake since we picked him up from you guys last month at Tinley! We call him Charles Cinnamon Roll, because he's so sweet (and bc he looks just like one!). It's so nice to know that he came from such a loving home before he was surrendered. We're in love, and committed to providing the best home we can for him!

I am legit in tears over the owners having to surrender their babies. My partner was trying to go to talk me into adopting a Boa and while I would love to, I knew I would fall in love and not be able to provide at the moment so I could not, would not. I will when I am able to financially provide for a new baby. ❤❤❤

Love being referred to as one of the "corn snake people" 😂 and technically Anerythristic is removing red pigmentation whereas axanthic removes the yellow. So yes, Anery is different! You will notice as snow corn snakes mature they will grow into their yellowish colors. They still have the yellows, but as babies they don't show as much and tend to be more pale/light pink.

The names referencing Good Omens, Carrie and Friday the 13th are awesome and I'm mad you guys didn't get them 😂 but I'm happy all the snakes are in amazing hands ❤

The way reptiles get shipped long distance just blows my mind. Just tie em up in a pillowcase, pop it in a stryofoam cooler, put that in a box and they're off! 😂😂😂

I feel so much for the ppl who had to make the tough decision to give their pets to someone else. They're going to a great place, but def not easy. And those hoggies! And the snow! Some v expensive and v well loved pets, and I'm glad they'll join the family here 💜

I visited the Indianapolis FedEx facility at the airport a couple years ago - they are renovating one of their package sorting buildings still so that might be why your snakes get delayed.

The original owner of those Hognose snakes has good taste in movies/tv. Eclipsa was known as the Queen of Darkness because she loved monsters on Star vs The Forces of Evil, Crowley (or Crawley as he was originally known as in the Garden of Eden) and Aziraphale are a demon and angel from the show Good Omens (10/10 romantic comedy, I highly recommend it), and Jason Voorhees is the killer from Friday the 13th horror movies

I literally just finished rewatching the Charlie the Unicorn series lmao, also Aziraphale and Crowley/Crawly the ineffable husbands my beloved. This videos has hit on two big current media hyperfixations for me. I’ve been watching this channel for years now, but I rarely comment, so I’d figure I’d let you guys know in this comment that this channel cured my fear of snakes! Now snakes, specially hognoses are a dream pet for me, it’s unfortunate that it’s illegal to own them where I am though. Maybe some day. I watch every single one of your videos, going back and rewatching whenever I get the chance. Thank you all for some great years of my life I’ve spent watching these beautiful reptiles flourish.

Aww Aziraphale and Crowley are adorable. As everyone else had said, those are the 2 main characters from Good Omens. Great book and show! 10/10 reccomend reading or watching it! Also, love how wrinkly Moby is. Scaleless corn snakes are strangely cute.

Its a leopluradon charlie, the leopluradon will show us the waaaayyy. My nickname was Charlie in highschool and im your age born in 91, love the throwbacks.

I worked in a pet shop that had snakes and they had ball pythons and corn snakes the manager encouraged handling them I named the corn snake corny and handled them the most one day they where sold I was sad because corny would chill on my arm and was very friendly and calm after a while the manager called me from the back while I was cleaning the mice told me to open a box and corny was in the box I reached in and held them they wrapped around my arm like normal the manager looked at the man who bought them and said “oh yes they very vicious” the man was returning corny saying every time he walked near the tank they struck the glass and wouldn’t let him near and there was me holding them no issues while I had the scent of mice on me because I didn’t wash my hands because I didn’t know I was going to handle a snake and I got too excited about seeing corny again haha but it might just be environment that might make corn snakes feisty

What I found with rehomed/rescue cornsakes is that some of them like to act friendly at the beginning and one day they decide that they actually hate you. I still love them but they can be weirdos
