Welcome to an unboxing of two kits from a new-to-me company, Diamond Art Studio UK! This shop offers a nice variety of licensed artwork, and when I saw that they were dropping a brand new-to-them MAX color kit, "Outside the Sweet Shop" by artist Helkoryo, with 197 brilliant colors, I couldn't resist making my first purchase. I also picked up a smaller kit with beautifully sweet artwork: "Loved Ones Are Near" by artist Anne Collier.

Thank you so much for the unboxing! As we know you as ‘Diamonds and Washi’ we never actually made the correlation from an order to your channel 😅 About 75% of the orders that went out that weekend had ‘freebies’ included as a thank you for your support. A mix of special drills and/or putty. Both of these are being restocked as quickly as possible. And all kits will be upgraded over time to match the layout / styling / sticker sheet as seen on Outside The Sweet Shop. It’s a recent change we have made and does take some time to filter through as recharting is required for the changes 💜 Really looking forward to seeing which one you decide to start first, I think it may be the Sweet Shop though as everyone seems drawn to it 🤩

And I actually love when I’m able to order kind of “anonymously,” so I’m able to get as close an experience as someone without a channel would. OMG! I want this painting so bad. I am waiting patiently. I lost my dad to Covid and I raise bluebirds. I placed a bluebird house outside his window and within a week he had bluebirds! I always think of him when I see bluebirds. My heart has to have it! Thank you for this video❤️

I am absolutely delighted with the results of the DAS rendering of my artwork on their kits and it is wonderful to see my artwork come to life in this way. I've done several from DAS and have a lot more in my stash. They are my #1 choice for diamond paintings. Their quality and customer service can't be rivaled by any other company. I always order at least 2 (usually more) from them at a time to help make shipping costs make more sense. Samantha and Giles are incredible and their company can't be beat. Their pictures are a dream to work with!!

I'm so pleased you chose this company. I'm from the UK and have been eyeing them up myself, even though I'm on a no-buy at the moment. The lemon sherbet putty is perfect for your sweet shop painting! Wow 197 colours.😮 thats some project. It will look stunning when finished with the colorful selection Sadly the darker parts are a No go for me. I am partially sighted & lost contrast in both eyes. I need very Bright Dp these days . I Love the Robin is Gorgeous ❤❤ Thank you for sharing. .🥰

I’m so sorry to hear that! I’m completely clueless with regards to losing contrast in sight etc. Would you mind explaining what a canvas would need to be for you to read it? Only light coloured symbols? Is a specific colour better for you than any other? I wonder if we can look at developing something to ensure the hobby is still accessible for all. I can’t promise anything but it would certainly be something to look into 💜

Woah! 197 colors. That's like extreme expert level. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to tackle that huge of a monster. Also the "outside the sweet shop" reminds me of diamond painting club's "cupcake bakery"

Darn it. I went to their website and fell in love with a painting. The $36 in shipping and customs stopped me short. Maybe for Christmas. They sell what they call wonky kits. They say the box might be damaged or there might be creases. Would you ever chance one of these? My fav is listed in the wonky group (of course I can get a full price one also).

I’ve bought from their wonky range before, you’re perfectly safe if you do so. Both of mine had hardly noticeable creases that disappeared when I worked on it anyway. Their quality control seems to be very picky so if it’s not absolutely perfect it goes to the wonky range. A lot of other companies would sell these for full price and not mention it.

If the problem requires a lot of intervention to complete the kit, such as big creases in the drill field etc it will be clearly stated in the description, and priced accordingly. Mostly they will have a mark on the back of the canvas, some minor creasing around the border or a corner of a box will be damaged. We are in the warehouse 9am-5pm weekdays (uk time zone) so if you ever want more info on one just pop us a message or email and we’ll get photos of its ‘wonky’ bits for you 🥰 That shipping fee is also flat rate. So if you order one kit, it’s $36, or order 5 kits and its still the same price of $36. Shipping out of the UK is unfortunately pricey 😢💜

I didn’t even think to check the wonky kit section! I knew I wanted to grab these two kits and they were both fresh restocks, so I wasn’t even checking the wonky section. I see that the shop has responded about the quality of those kits, too! I hear you on shipping. When I order from an overseas (to me) company like this one, I try to save up so I can order more than one and take advantage of flat rate shipping if it’s offered like it was on these. Totally do whatever works for you! For what it’s worth, the quality on these kits looks like it’s worth saving up for 💛

I believe the shipping is flat rate (doesn't go up if you order multiple kits) maybe depending on where you live, but I deliberately waited till I could order more than one so the shipping didn't sting so much!

Good morning Katie, both canvases are beautiful. If I was going to work on a canvas with a 197 colors, I would give myself about three months. Yes, I have heard of the Diamond Art Studio UK LTD. Do you have a video on how to use putty? I have putty, which I bought from Merry something. I am having trouble. Either I get the putty on the canvas, the drills stick to the putty, or the pen, putty and drills stick to the canvas. Please let me know if you have a video. I would appreciate it.
