I have a 1993 Heritage 535, they are THE best 335's I've ever played, even got rid of a 66 Gibson 345! That Gibson may have been made by the same latherers my Heritage was made but the Heritage sounds soooo beautiful and the neck is second to none EVEN CUSTEM SHOP Gibsons I've played through the years!!! My Heritage is 30+ years and has aged just perfectly and beautifully, can't put it down, it sounds and feels so good in my hands!

I had a 1996 H535 and loved that guitar! I had to part with it years ago but got a Heritage H-530 (like a Gibson ES-330, with the longer neck) with the Lollar P90s. This guitar is just so so wonderful--so light and responsive, and the neck is a bit chunkier (not beefy) than my old 535, which I prefer. I wasn't a big fan of the P90s at first, but I have really grown to love them. Heritage makes really wonderful instruments! Glad you are enjoying yours! :)
Yo, cool review and grerat playing! I picked up an H-530 back in January. Solid guitars!!! For anyone that wants to hear an opinion here ya go. I've played a few and I think they're better and also more affordable than Gibson (sadly even better than Gibson's custom shop, too.) I know this because because I play a load of guitar myself and worked for a really badass custom shop dealer for a couple of years. Custom electric Gibsons, acoustic Gibsons, Fender master built, Martin custom shop, custom Taylor's you name it. Gibson isn't horrible, and I don't hate Gibson even though it kinda sounds like it. haha, they do make good guitars. But there consistency is terrible and they're overpriced. If Gibson makes one but so does Heritage, buy a Heritage. Or buy whatever you want.

Pro tip: For your other guitar with the bad break angles, use the String Butler device. My Son got one for his Les Paul… and it works great… and looks ok… as well as being completely reversible in future if you wish.
