I make cheat sheets with numbers 1-100 and just look at that when you see the cards. Up date your list and its easy. I also log all mainlines and have carded, cracked, displayed and protected. So much Fun for a Serious Collector.

Brandon, I love the Matchbox case unboxings I feel like the Tesla is my favorite. I guess my zonks are that you get 4 Lambos and the uneven windshield on the Porsches I feel like MBX missed the mark upon releasing the case. I'd rather see a Maybach 57 S, an Audi A8, a Genesis G90, a BMW I7, a Rolls-Royce Culoanen, a Chevy Equinox, a Kia Carnival, A Toyota BZ4X, a Mercedes Maybach S580, & a Genesis GV80. For the working Rigs, I'd love to see a Prevost H3-45, an Autocar ACX with McNeillus XR Garbage Truck in EDCO WASTE & Recycling Services, a Volvo WX42 with Heil Rapid Rail in the for mentioned livery. Plz reply & happy 2024!❤

If it has no number it is a carry over, yes. Don't forget if you are a serious collector as I. The same piece on a 2023 (70 yrs.) is another card variation. These are also on International short cards, which some were released in Walmart and Dollar General, and Dollar Tree. Error pieces are a hit with some. I love them! No Tampo's or one wrong wheel. Groovy Baby.
Matchbox is getting hard to find here but they are worth it. The newest ones like the charger in white just rock. Having worked on parts for the real one I like getting any version in model form.
FYI: That #74 Yellow Gemera is the one and only missing mainline from the 2023 70th Anniversary release. Nice score on the chase! I must have bought close to 500 MBX last year in multiple states and locales, never found one in the wild. Funny how eBay and some of the online retailers always seem to have them for a price🙂.
2023 brought two number 8 models. The 1941 Plymouth and the Space X Dragon Capsule. The only number remaining was 74, which given the fact that the Plymouth released first, made sense that the Dragon should be 74. If the Gamera is supposed to be part of the 2023 mainline, then we ended up with 101 models which is unbelievably unlikely. This is due to the frantic push at the end of the year to hit the 100 model mark with a few models pushed back to 2024. The team did in fact hit the 100 model mark with the late editions of the 1986 F150, the Ground Grabber and the International Brush fire truck.
@@levelmdiecast2329 Only problem is when you roll that Dragon card over it says #8 of 100, we have two #8’s and two #38’s since both the Rivian and Ambulance were in anniversary packaging even though most collectors will argue that based on wiki fandom that the Rivian was a 2022 model, even though they typically don’t number carryovers, hence the confusion on the Gemera as well. Since Mattel does not have an official catalog physically or online who is right? This is what makes collecting interesting but also reveals a somewhat lackadaisical approach by Mattel on timing and order of model releases. So we have 102 mainline plus the three mystical Supers albeit unnumbered. Maybe, kind of sorta, probably.😄
I just noticed there are two #74’s in your video, A case has the Yellow Gemera and the B case has #74 Blue 3000 GT. One of those 74’s has got to be a 2023 hold over.
@@levelmdiecast2329 Unless that Spacex is a 2022 holdover. In the absence of a true catalog I found a site called Wiki fandom Matchbox and they seem to have a good listing of the last several years of releases that helps paint a clear picture of where the carryover models are. At least the logic is plausible. Anyway I know I have ocd on the numbering of these things. No worries🙂
