Heyo Georgeazoid here! Welcome to another episode of my unboxing series! In this episode I'm opening and going over a Monster Vertex XL Power Surge Protector. This is a premium surge protector and I ended up picking up and instead of opening it and using it right away I waited until I recorded an unboxing so I can share it with you. Now in the video I made one mistake and its saying that the main power cable is 12 ft... its not, its 6ft and if you combine that with the USB hub it comes with that also has a 6ft cable then you would have a total 12ft extension.

Amazon has the white one on sale for $80 right now. How's is the surge protector holding up for you?

first off, that's what she said XD the type-C is 20W maybe charge a laptop though laptop ask for 100W-ish but you can charge your phones and whatnot with those just use the actual outlets for laptop XD it's 1000J more than mine XD I'm a nerd so you bet I went to check but lot's of info missing even on their website. for nerd you need more specs geo :3

Thanks for the info! I'll try to get more info packed into the unboxings series as I can going forward after today's video upload. At the end of the day I'm focused on the unboxing experience but I'm sure I can add more tech specs when possible.

Really happy with it so far. First time actually putting some priority into a good surge protector and this one has all the specs.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still new to making videos for YT so I'm streamlining and improving quality over time. I've only been uploading for a month. Also my analytics on this video seem to be pretty strong. Its one of the videos with the most completion rate watch time I've uploaded so far. Hard to say if shortening it would have been better due to that, but maybe it would have been!
