Great mail call, really like the Rough Rider folding hunter. The bag of older knives was fun to see what was coming out next. Cool tin, i remember my Grandpa having those tins around. Have a great day and a blessed weekend.
Greetings from the United States of Mississippi.🤣 We just wanted you to know how much we enjoy and appreciate your channel and videos. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless and favor you for many years to come, my friend.
George. I'm happy you enjoyed the "care package". On the fish knife - I had thought about stripping the old scale material, sanding, and painting with some type of an enamel paint? I really enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work. Thank you!
I haven't thought about that since I was a kid, back in 60s. You know store workers must have gotten tired of that joke. 🤣 kids are rotten (me included!)
Good video. I will be interested when you fix the scales on the fish knife. I have one with the fish on the side, but it is just the metal underneath and I need to fix it.
Good stuff George hope you’re enjoying your camping trip, maybe getting in some fly fishing, I am jealous , wish I was in your area and could go with you. Keep it safe out there
Nice mail call, buddy...some very interesting knives and future projects for you...I wonder if the snail is actually a fishing reel? Always enjoy what you share...thanks for the vid...Jim
A suggestion for the fish knife scales. I have made wooden scales for 2 so far. Both were Colonials. Relatively easy to do, each one is unique and making it a little wider makes for a better grip. Question. Do you have any Colonial fixed blade hunting style knives
George, I’m interested in the type knives you or your fellow South Africans used in everyday life. Was the USA knives used? I really enjoy your acceptance of all types knives and manufacturers. Also you don’t promote knives that would take a bank loan to buy. Take care.
As kids we all carried a pocket pen knife. Kinda like a little swiss army nice style . The Okapi you saw here was very popular among hunters and farmers. Not much out there zuSA. Not sure about today. The internet has spread the word....be safe
