Hello guys, we're iMiró! First of all, it's so sorry for the bent frame and the not working-well knob. We'll immediately search for the stronger and finer materials, strengthen the shipping buffer to reduce the accidents like this. Besides, a better shipping agency selection is also necessary. We'll try our best to make sure that every single product we present is perfect. As for the derailleur, the engineers recently keep working on it, we're looking forward to meeting the brand new bike as well. Lots of thanks for all your comments, we had read each line of them. All the advice gain from you guys would be a great help for us, and a better iMiró is on the corner as long as we realize each of them! Besides, talking about the bike in the video, we have already contacted Micah for the follow-up. At last, hope you do enjoy the video and keep loving Micah! Sincerely, iMiró team.
I want to know how to make a fan powered 12 volt generator to charge One battery while I'm going on my ebike. I have a little knowledge of electricity and how to solder. Instead of carrying a big giant solar panel on a wagon you could hug the fans to your bike and if you are going it will charge I think. I don't think you want a giant fan I think you want small ones but I'm not a scientist I wish someone would help me it's something I really want to do. Instead of going about 50 MI at Full Throttle on my electric bike I could go 100 or more and not have to worry about where am I going to charge it I just bought another battery which is $400. So if I'm not careful and it's full throttle I can at least go 50 miles or maybe 40 because I will be packed down with camping gear in my wagon it's a really nice Cannondale wagon from the 90s that I used to carry my son's in before I got custody I used to pick them up in it
@@LetArtsLive there is a new video featuring 9 amp solar charging with a high-voltage battery so he is getting half a kilowatt from the Sun. He can do this while he is in China of next year during the annual race that only allows solar recharging and solar powered bicycles. So he does not need the battery for other than the capacitor or the buffer unless he's going to be going up the very steep mountains. Crystal Light sponsored in one year providing the meters that prevent cheating but he has invested in 40% efficient panels that's how he can get so many watts. Your second question is the one that will be mock and derided but to reframe your question if you have in oblique headwinds but for variety of reasons you cannot use a sale Can you capture some of the inertial energy of that nitrogen oxygen Etc and converted to forward motion? Yes you can and that will cause your bicycle to accelerate without increasing the draw from the battery which is possibly patented and definitely had the patentable or still is. Wind is Big on sailboats but I think that you in fact have not been schooled against for petrol potions apparency I said perpetual motion not petrol potions LOL
The fundamental design has a lot going for it, and if they work out the kinks and quality control it will be really solid. The ingenious "full suspension" is much lighter and less complex than traditional suspension, and the folding system seems stronger, more rigid and durable (while riding, anyway) than many folding designs. That rear derailleur has to go, though. Those wheels are just too small for a derailleur system. They could go to a front motor and use an internal hub gear system. If they do that and fix the folding latch, I'll be in line.
16" Wheels be that way Brave to open and assemble in grass Pretty neat look , but I have a Mobiky Not much size advantage from fold 15oo less than Bromie
@@JohnnyMotel99 Hub gears with >3 speeds are hard to keep adjusted on foldies and rear derailleurs are vulnerable. that's why Brompton stuck with their funky hybrid. 3spd on a 16" is not suited for anything not flat and smooth and close by.
Great looking bike . Frame has slight issues but as you demonstrated fairly quickly fixed. . Locking mechanism should be a easy fix to. Well done keep smiling
Very interesting unboxing. Seems what it makes up for in saving space by not folding is defeated by the increase in height, when squeezed together. As noted by others, the gear derailleur came dangerously close to scrapping the ground when you made right turns and then again after you stopped and were placing the bike on its stand. Thanks for the review.
Glad to have found your channel. These ebikes can be confusing to a newbie. I'll be spending the next day or two streaming all your previous posts. Thanks - great vids.
I didn't the same thing when I got my ancheer ebike, put the forks on backwards, I took it out for a ride, ran great, had to adjust the brakes, that's when I looked at the manual, oh the forks are on wrong, easy fix
I have a Sondors and you have to watch videos from like 2015 and they have made quite a bit of changes since. No manual. Haha it was simple yet a pain in the butt. For me anyways. Haha love my bike though :)
I feel like you nailed exactly what this bike is. And it's weird because the first impression I got from looking at it is: "oh it's another gimmicky looking low-powered ebike." But aside from the things that didn't work right, it actually looks like it could potentially be decent in a few more design iterations.
1st impression was the look similar to the e-motorbike in the film Oblivion. I like the input from the manufacturer in the comments . Glad to see some paying attention.
Cute... Over $1200 though. I bought and recommend a Lectric XP. Folding fat tire, 28MPH 500W ebike. Made in Arizona! Excellent customer support. $899 last I checked and comes with fenders and cargo rack. Arrives full assembled too!
Love real unboxing videos, no fake ones that everything is perfect to make the host look smart. Btw the main problem for me would be how low the rear deraileaur is, i would be too worried about hitting the chain or damaging the bike, beside that is a cheap entry level ebike, and for every bike there's a market.
Try turning the handle bars 90° and see if the locking pin goes in a hole, there could be a hole in the goose neck inside the down tube that needs aligned just a thought
Interesting folder. Reminds me of an old folder I have. The XB-210LI. Folds similarly by horizontal compression. Great to use as a last mile of travel (7 miles for me) to and from the train station and has a pretty small footprint on a crowded subway. It has some design issues like yours and I have been keeping it running for several years now with DYI mods, rubberbands and paperclips. I use and like to ride it as my commuter bike because it stands out as odd looking and still does the job. Can bring it in the office and stick it in a closet.
This was one of the most entertaining unboxing videos I have ever seen - so real world. I think the design concept is unique in a good way. The spring concept for a smoother ride seems right on. It seems designed for my old gluteus Maximus. The Taiwanese know how to better engineer bikes and are noted for their better bike builds. The company jumping in and adding their right on comments about the bike shows they are serious in producing a better product.
I don't have an e-bike but for some reason, your videos are super fun to watch. One of these days I'll try a conversion kit to sample the e-bike experience.
I have been looking at bikes to supplement my road bike. I appreciate your review and realize that the top speed on this little fella isn’t enough for me. Although you didn’t talk about it, the rear derailleur looks quite close to the ground. Thanks again.
This reminds a lot of the BMW e-pedelec folding bikes. I had the chance to ride around in Berlin in one and they were a dream. Sad that model never made it into a product.
Interesting design, cool concept. Particularly like the full suspension/front suspension. Well done Mica, keep the reviews coming. They are balanced honest and knowledgeable 🙂
I am a -56-yr-old-Taiwanese, who live in the UK for 12 yrs. The bike's manufacturer is close to my hometown. I have written an email for them to report the 2 serious quality issues while assembling and folding. Hope them contacting you to solve the 2 quality issue.
I appreciate that you made this video about your unboxing this beautiful machine. But if you haven't done so already also, I think that there is need for a video to make a beautiful presentation about this bicycle.
Your reviews are awesome. I always forward your video on the Ariel D-Class when people ask about my new purchase. Think my favorite is when you slide in to start the video on a bike and make a tsk noise. Classic.
Am I the only one who is asking the price? Good review and good comments by your fellow subscribers who questioned the derailed. Your not reading the Manuel reminds me of myself 50 years ago. Keep up the good work! Mike O
Bonus points for unboxing on a grass surface.. i lost nuts and bolts assembling my ebike on a tiled kitchen floor :) Cool bike --- nice to see folks innovating design (so many 'folding' bikes look the same of copy each other). This X-frame with shock could have potential in a next iteration.
the speed limit is a real problem. if you're a little bit above average cyclist, 25km/h is slow which means that it's faster on a normal bike without the weight. Very nice design here with the suspension system like that. suspension is wanted with the extra weight of the motor and batteries
That post knob; it looked like you are supposed to pull and turn 45°. That's how my miter saw locks in place. Then again, iMiró replied and did not mention it.
The price of about $2000 is too high for this little bike when one considers the other E bikes in the current market place. I currently have 2 E bikes. A Rad Rover and a fat tire trike. I could also use a small folding bike like the one shown here to take with me in a small car. It's too bad that the price for it puts it off my list for a Christmas gift to myself.... A nice review, thank you for the time and energy it took to make this video.
If you go to Miro website it has this promo video and if you watch closely you can see that they have this problem with the pin in promo video. 1) It doesnt lockout when he fold it 2) you can see that as man drags it along the corridor he is holding the bike where the pin is.
The folding mechanism is actually the main selling point of this ebike. There is NO ebike that can fold and then be subsequently rolled easily and vertically while folded on the market right now! So, if they fix this folding mechanism, they will have a big winner here, as long as people are aware of it and why it is so useful. It means, you don't have to worry about the weight of the bike much, because it easily wheels in folded form, for example onto public transportation or in train hallways between trains, etc.
Micah, I respect and like your your reviews. However, you MUST RTFM before taking to the bike “with a little extra force”. The bike is innovative, but maybe “pre-production”? The derailleur definitely looks vulnerable. A couple of stats would be useful: motor power rating, battery capacity, charge duration etc.
Really appreciate.. This is first comment to this video.(but it took time to type all) Honestly this bike doesn't work to people because this bike is only useful on good black road, you know it's really difficult to maintain this bike because it's very sensitive/delicate bike. Looking for E-bike useful videos for office purpose
@@BubbafromSapperton that won't work in india because of cement road are very nasty, only on black top road it can roll well.this is what actually intention of black road.
I have a very tight budget (think buying things one by one) but I'm fed up of being a pedestrian so am hoping to get a donor bike and build myself a ebike, eventually 😒. Glad I found your channel. 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Maybe the folding lock and the seat position has got something to do with. Why not try that. Seems like there is some additional weight that is not holding the locking position.👍
Reminds me a bit of the Strida folding bike which stores vertically so you can get it on public transport easily. This seems to be a half-arsed attempt at making an ebike version of that.
Normally I’m amazed by all the new electric products but this thing a hard pass. I hoped u got it free for reviewing it and even then it might more trouble then it’s worth. Cool folding mechanism though, wish it functioned properly lol
