Air india looks much cleaner and neater than previous aircrafts when Air india was actually being owned by the government. I can see that TATA will definitely bring a great glory to Air india !!
Air India has announced plans to refurbish its entire legacy wide body fleet, comprising 27 Boeing B787-8 and 13 B777 aircraft, committing over US$400m for the project. This refurbishment will see a complete overhaul of existing cabin interiors, including the addition of latest generation seats and best in-class inflight entertainment across all classes. In addition, the refurbishment will see the introduction of a Premium Economy cabin on both fleets. The First Class cabin will also be retained on the 777s. Air India has engaged leading London-based product design companies, JPA Design and Trendworks, to assist with the cabin interior design elements of this refurbishment programme.
How long do you think will this project take to come completely online? They're updating their entire product line-up so I think this might take 5-10 years? Maybe I'm wrong but I'm glad Air India is finally doing this.
Honestly this has to be one the best videos showcasing Air India Flagship. There aren't many youtubers who have done this and this video is just perfect. Thank you very much Harry Bhai 😊
Jalapeno = हैलपीन्यो À la carte = alacart Big fan of yours vlog Just thought to inform you this for the future pronunciation. Hope you will not take this in a wrong way
I booked tickets from YVR-BOM yesterday. The prices are really great. My only request is please treat the planes with some respect and do not damage it. Tata's will do the best but we also need to ensure we keep them in order.
Even in Economy class, the hospitality of Air India is very good. It doesn't feel ' fake '. One thing is certain, Air travel is extremely expensive relative to the service received. High speed rail will finally provide domestic commuters and passengers with a viable alternative to airlines which can match (and sometimes, surpass) the door to door journey times of air travel (with far less hassle)
On my first fight on Air India from SFO to Delhi on the 777-200LR my attendant call button was broken as well as the person next to me. Only one person in our row could call the attendants and when he Called them they never came
The beatdown Air India First Class being compared (at least as of the moment) to Emirates First Class is hilarious not to mention overkill. We need to give the TATAS a few years to work their Midas touch and then hopefully it should be a fair comparison. 😇
This aircraft was previously used by Etihad. Air India bought it from them and are using the old Etihad interiors itself. These will be used in the long haul international routes but currently are being used in the domestic sector for crew training. Air India will buy 5 more such aircrafts from Etihad but all off them won't have first class cabins.
False! None of the Etihad B777s as part of the new lease agreements have been delivered yet, only 3 of Ex-Delta B77Ls have been delivered, this is an Air India aircraft, with Air India interiors itself NOT Etihad!
thank you for the hack! would surely love to try Air India first class one day!! Although 24k is a big amount....lets hope we get to travel in international flight one day!
Thank you for this. I will be flying Air India first class from San Francisco to New Delhi -16 hours flight - very soon. In just a bit more than 24 hours. So this was good to watch.
Great review... Air India's future flagship for the North American routes starting in 2024 will be covered by brand new A350s... Can't wait to see your future review of that... nonstop ultra-long haul routes of AI starting 2024.... 😛
Don't compare with Emirates ...air india is better in its own way .... Emirates is now a established airlines but coming 4,5 years will going to revolutionary for air india with a3501000 new interior for us routes and 777 ,787's refurbishment.....I think Maharaja is back .......
Looks very nice but the only comments that I have is I would have expected the table tray to be closer to you. It seemed like you were leaning over too much to get to the table. I also agree it would have been nice to have a water holder next to your arm. Overall very good!
2 corrections, 1) Sparkling water is not healthy. It is naturally carbonated. Any carbonated drink is not healthy. 2) It is not jalapeño but pronounced as Halapeno. J is pronounced as H in Spanish. Rest , great vlog. Not many videos are there to promote AI first class.
Air India is placing orders for 470 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, Air India is ordering 220 Boeing aircraft valued at $34 billion. The orders include 190 737 Max aircraft, 20 of Boeing's 787s, and 10 of its 777Xs. The purchase also includes customer options for an additional 50 737 Maxs and 20 of its 787s, totaling 290 airplanes for a total of $45.9 billion at list price.
Good review but its maybe just a bit too long - a lot of this can be summarised and the video length can be dropped below the 15min marker. Perhaps people here enjoy the extended length? I'm not sure.
Domestically AI first class is largely unimpressive it seems (both the hard and soft product), I think it makes sense to stick to Vistara business for now if that’s an option in the route. It’s easy to grab one of those for 13K to 15K using upgrades.
The Tata takeover has happened financially but there is lot of interior/process/service/IT infrastructure changes that are yet to come into picture. Large orders of airplanes to be delivered by end of 2024. They received some of the Aeroflot planes that were grounded and will be used for long haul flights with Aeroflot interiors. 2025 is the year when we will actually visualise the changes brought by Tata realistically.
It is all a mismatch. Nothing makes sense and it is all chaos for now. A friend travelled from Canada to India and her review of the flight was, "Nothing has changed"
@@surpotel8016 yes because most of the international destination flights still needs refurbishment and replacement with newer 777s or A350s. New crew and pilot appointments and revamp of the training program will slowly come into picture. Nothing changes overnight
Buddy I like your attitude! Especially asking viewers to rectify if any mistake made, really appreciate it. 13:42 Jalapeños, in pronunciation J is silent.
This aircrafts will undergo refurbishment in mid of 2024 with new generation seats designed by London based company, so exciting future of AIR INDIA 🇮🇳
Tata Mgmt > Stop providing drinks, please. Only then safe to fly. Next, bedbugs remember the Newark NJ case. Restrooms need to be dry and clean. Pilots shouldn't allow fiance in cabins. Namaste!
When you mentioned that this flight has arrived from Vancouver and then going to Chennai..did you mean about this particular aircraft or this overall flight in general like Vancouver-Delhi-Chennai…please explain this
