Unboxing and Assembling Wrestling Superstore Real Scale Ring 

Nice, I thought you'd like this. It looks like they changed a few things from the Jakks one. I don't remember having to take the legs off to get the elastic around the apron like that, although I've had the different aprons from the Classic Deluxe figures set up overtop of the blue WM2 apron on mine for a long time. The mat on mine has always been loose like how yours is. Although, I know several people have found a way to mod it. I've even seen where people just stretch gray fabric over it and sew it underneath to stay form-fitting, then put the CSDA aprons on and you don't notice it at all. Glad this ring is better for you though, cool that the Mattel pads work on it too, always nice to have some cross-use out of things!

Nice thing about these rings are the availability of spare parts. Being able to change out the center post holders, legs, posts, etc is very nice.

It took me FOREVER to figure out how to hook the Turnbuckles and Ropes together (on the Jakks Version) and your video helped tremendously,thanks very much!

TIPS: one Turnbuckle must act as the master turn buckle and hold the rope clamps behind each turnbuckle pillow at the same turnbuckle! about the mat problem! use dual sided tape on one side stretch it out "not to tight." and apply on each side until taught between the mat and ring itself. mine looks like it has been ironed,it is perfect! Trick: go to radio shack and get a true large condenser mic and small guitar amp and place the mic under the ring and wire it to your amp! the impact of take downs sounds amazing! and above all enjoy your figure federation and or collecting! :)

nice ring, I plan on getting this at some point. also wrestling superstore sells replacement parts for the ring.

I usually put a 1/4" of foam under the canvas, so it stretches it out nicely and it's padded protection for your figures. Plus, I'd probably spray paint those posts and hand pant the corner slots the posts go into. Not sure how well the WSS ropes stack up to RSC's ropes, but RSC's ropes are better than the Mattel factory ropes, imo - so I'd probably go with those (unless WSS's ropes have a better spring to them). Anyways, a good informative video that's help me decide to purchase the ring later on.

I’ve found that if you cut the foam out of the bottom of the canvas around the edges, the figures stand up better.

You should buy the high wire x playset from the same website it is a fun playset although it does have some flaws but still enjoyable

basically the turn buckles weren’t made by Mattel, it was made by Wicked Cool Toys

Well i just got my ring and it turns out that the elastics for the ring canvas are too small to twist. So if you Burnout, or if anyone has a solution to the loose canvas, please let me know, thanks.

Glad you enjoy this ring! I do say though that the Wicked Cool Toys ring is better than the ESR. It's got the elastic bands that this Jakks clone ring has on the canvas but the canvas and skirts are all separate. Part of me wishes I didn't part with this ring mostly because i don't have as much outside ring space as i'd want, however the deciding point for me parting ways with this was not having a steel cage for it and the WCT ring has 2 coming out in the fall. But glad you enjoy this. If you want, you can always get a canvas (separate from skirt) from my buddy Naparo that has the ringskirts website. He even can add your logo onto the custom canvas and also, you can probably trim down your BPW skirt then just rethread it but if that isn't something you want to do, getting another skirt from him is always a plan B.

I'm a little concerned that the fabric turnbuckles are eventually going to tear from the strain of the ring ropes, I would hang onto the rubber turnbuckles form the Mattel ring in case the fabric ones break.
