An unboxing and review of my first firearm purchase; the Browning 1911 22LR. An excellent 80% scale 1911 for those looking to purchase a fun 22LR firearm or get introduced to firearms. www.browning.c...
I've had mine for since they came out, changed out the grips for better fit. I've had no malfunctions it's amazingly accurate. Great conceal carry, don't under estimate the 22, with its accuracy 👌
To my understanding you're supposed to take it down like a traditional 1911 by pressing on the spring in the front and turning the little bit out of the way.
I love my Browning 22LR it's compact, convenient for conceal carry as it is very light weight, provides a minimum recoil impact. I have had some difficulties with the maintenance of the magazines as you cannot disassemble them. If anyone has any positive feedback I would greatly appreciate it.
@@tieupac My biggest gripe is the hammer bite I get. I don't get that with my Beretta 71. I keep having to readjust my grip after first grabbing it. Its annoying and leaves a welt. I'm gonna contact Browning and see if I can get the Beavertail from a Black Label, or the skeletonized hammer. I just got done grinding away the magazine disconnect with a hand-rasp, lol. I also India Stoned, then ceramic polished everywhere the slide met the frame, where I could. I've barely owned it 24hrs. My sights were right on, but Im afraid to dissolve them when I blast this thing with brake cleaner.
@@Capt_Killingfield 9 months later, how do get "hammer bite" never heard of it 🤔 Also it's called slide bite and is literally impossible to get shooting any 1911 clone copy whatever, very curious about how you are getting the web of your hand past the beaver tail and even getting a 1911 to fire because you would obviously have lost contact with the lemon squeeze and it would not fire, I'm picturing you gripping it in such a way that this would happen and laughing my ass off because you obviously need lessons and shouldn't be handling any weapon without supervision, seriously 💯 Not joking at all bro!
@@diehard1340 Even a child can do a simple Google search. Not joking at all. You obviously shouldn't be handling weapons OR the internet. Here, educate yourself with those who know: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W2b0fUZctBI.html
@@diehard1340 Feel smarter now? Btw, this isn't a "1911 clone copy whatever". This is a REAL original Browning 1911 made by Browning designed by Browning. You're talking about beavertails...there's no beavertail on this piece. Think before you type dude 💯
