Shout-out to Karl jobst for the well done video about wata games and heritage auctions. What do I think? Wata, heritage, and some individuals within each company seem to have a hand in market manipulation and some practices that are unethical potentially illegal (if proven true) in some cases. What am I going to do? Take it day by day. The market will not go to zero, but it will likely be affected to some extent. Certain games and items will most likely go through a market correction. There is no clear answer for what to do moving forward, but caution will be used with how to proceed moving forward with grading games. I did recently send a fairly large batch of games to wata before the video was released… so it is what it is as far as that goes. I also have a large batch that I have been waiting to send to VGA and will send those off as soon as possible. That being said, VGA’s printout submission process is ancient and awful. It needs to get better. They are a good grading company otherwise and could come back as the number 1 option if they improve their weaknesses. What will happen to graded games? I think the truly rare sealed games may see a rise in price, while the less rare sealed games may see a steady decline in price. VGA may see a bump as they have no evidence of market manipulation and have been around the longest. Competitors are rising and hopefully a good 3rd option will come to the forefront. I MAY still grade with Wata as I think they do still have a lot of good people within the company and MOST of their grades are honest and accurate to the best of that graders ability. Their submission process is also excellent. That being said, I will take it day by day and make decisions with caution. @@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice its crazy, because i've been looking into getting a sealed graded game for my collection, but after i saw that i won't use heritage, but that being said as its all "speculation" look at pwcc for example theres been proof for years of shill bidding ebay just now took action.. so i wonder if it'll be a few years before they're exposed or if it'll just be swept under the rug.. assuming the speculation is true. which it doesn't look good for wata or heritage. now i've never graded video games or tcg's before. i'm just a low level collector! but i wonder if it'll render wata sealed games worthless in the sense that its no different than just buy a lose sealed game. hopefully VGA gets there stuff sorted this could be a turning point for them! EDIT: by the way love the videos! keep it up!

@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice They have done the same thing in the Comics Market only they didnt get caught. As long as the Video game market is strong it should survive. There will be a definite shift in pricing im sure, but its all going to come down to how strong and how many collectors are in the market for these games. Very proud of Karl for putting it out there. Took some huge balls on his part to out these guys.

No it's not a scam, but it is run by scammers and partnered with a scammer. They provide a service just like VGA. You will always run into the schemes when money is involved. Everyone should have known this when WATA was immediately partnering with Heritage auctions. If or when WATA is beat down some other grading company will take its place. If VGA makes their process as easy to submit as WATA you'll see them being used in more scams as well. Actually I'm sure VGA has been used in schemes in the past, but just never got caught. Where there's money to be made people will always want a bigger share for themselves.

I meen the reason he has 25k subs is not becouse of patreon but by his normal daily video's. Its not a problem to ask support on patreon but in every video?? And not 1 or 2 times he asks 3 times in some video's to check patreon. No way thats not the way to do it, but i see you guys around 300.000k you whil see what i am talking about, he wil be stoping this kind of video's by then. The video's are cool en nice and stuf but come on stop the patreon support you guys are asking in each video, i see a lot of resalers on RU-vid who never talks about patreon

Every channel on RU-vid is unique, and utilizes their own method of reaching out to their viewers. Reselling channels may choose to not use the basic outreach principles we use, and that's fine! Many other channels love seeing their communities grow, and this is how we do it. Basic marketing skills are very important, and many would not even know we offer many of the things we do if we don't say it. With thousands of unique viewers every video who have never seen one of our videos before, it's important to share what we have going on.
