Two years later...I just had to tell you that I just bought one of these brand new (November 2023), and the annoying sticker still comes with the machine! LOL It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that was annoyed!
AWESOME video my friend. Great Job in explaining how the machine works. I just ordered it and getting it in a few hours, so your video helped me to see what to expect. Thank you so much.
Pro tip for those kinds of stuck on stickers: Blow on them a bit with e heat gun or even a hair dryer on high temp. The heated up adhesive will release easily in one piece without leaving behind residue.
Man what happened a month ago? I bought one about 2 months ago and was doing research and now I'm getting all of these popups from new people unboxing and showing it off. I love cappuccino with a light roast bean with half and half and 3/4 packet of splenda. I do 3/2/3 settings and it fill up my 5.4oz dual wall cups just foaming over the brim. For plain coffee I like 2/2. It fills up my 12oz travel mug and cup with a touch of slosh room.
Nice! I heard of others doing this method as well. I'm also homebrewer so having this CO2 tank just made sense for me with kegging. Thanks for watching!
Only Use, Jug filtered,ReverseOsmosis,Distilled or UltraFine Filtered Water, along with the aquaclean filter inside. The tap water destroys o rings...some water had too much chemicals, chlorine, industrial fluoride etc. Yes definately lube the O Rings..good idea.
The improvement after a week of use was substantial. I also went from watery pucks to regular looking pucks. Still, I have a hard time calling what this puts out “espresso”. It’s good, it’s strong, but it’s not that melted chocolate coating your tongue that real espresso is. Makes a great cappuccino at the push of a button though.
Yeah I totally agree as well. I mean the brew group itself is plastic so using a lot of pressure to push water through the puck is limited. However you can't beat the convenience of one button cappuccinos and easy clean up of the frother.
I picked one of these up this week and Philips still has not resolved the glue on the bin lid sticker issue. I made me fell a little better to know that I was not alone in getting a lemon. Hopefully this comment will let you know that you also are not along. That sticker sucked. I got it off with hot water and rubbing. What a pain!
The 5400 gives you a few more drinks in the menu. The most important difference is that the 5400 can give you an "extra" shot of espresso in your drink (it basically just runs the espresso routine after brewing your desired cup of coffee). The 4300 if you wanted an extra shot, you would have to brew your drink then push to brew an espresso. Other than these two things they are pretty much the same.
@@TonysTipBits Yes please. I want to find out the hottest it brews Espresso by itself coming out of the spout & also the milk coming out. Thank you so much.
Thanks for this video....I am considering upgrading my Ninja coffee maker to one of these machines... Having a hard time with pulling the trigger because of the price point😫😫😫
By the 1200/2200/3200 Philips bean to cup, within a year you will save money. Pods cost 5 times more, wholebeancoffee is 100% fresh and less than half the price of pods, taste better too, I bought a cheaper1200Philips on special...it is saving me money, easy and makes yoy lazy in making freshly ground Good tasting coffee...my wife prefers this as pods were small and getting expensive. You can buy any Organic,Single Origin or Robusta as you wish ...still much cheaper than any stale, plastic pod. The Philips can brew 10g /12g of coffee max, pods are 5g,dolcegusto is 7g ....less coffee grams.
Hey there! Thanks for watching. Yes I did have problems with the machine. Unfortunately I had to packed it up and return it to get an exchange and currently waiting for the replacement since it's on backorder until January. :( I'll make an update once I get the new machine, set it up and get it tuned. What happened was that the steam was not going into the frother and it would not dispense hot water. I felt that I got a defective unit because in this video I had an issue during setup as well. I'm not 100% sure when I'll get the new machine yet, but will do an update explaining all of what happened and do the update. I hope in a months time
Thanks for the tip! Yeah I also looked into it and it appears to be o-ring related. Since the machine was new I felt that I should not have these issues and returned the machine. The next machine I get I think I'm going to grease the o-ring with food grade lubricant before I even turn it on. I saw some others that have had success doing so. Some have even had to replace the o-rings themselves. Will update when I get the new machine.
Hey thanks for your comment. Appreciate your perspective... I don't really like stickers or sticker residue and it's a hassle for the customer. I respect your opinion though. Have a great day!
