Got the ‪@EvolutionPowerTools‬ Metal cutting Miter saw in today. Figured I would do a unboxing and test run with it. I really like this saw as it makes clean cuts and make cutting angles quick and easy. I got this saw for a up coming utility trailer build I'm planning with ‪@johnsontrailerparts‬

Looks like a good saw, the only gripe I have is... It would be better if you could have a saw that could do long rip cuts too, like the old radial arm saws of old.

Thanks for posting, I was having a difficult time trying to find an Evolution saw which has swivel head and good clamps for steel, without the swivel head it's just not worth the investment, especially when cutting 45 deg, lengths of steel side ways across the workshop, not ideal in any situation, good video well explained, cheers

Your welcome. This is by far the best purchase made for cutting steel. I absolutely love it so far. Still need to build a stand for it.

I absolutely love using this saw. I have had no issues with it and it cuts fairly quick with clean cuts. I have a Bosch saw that I used before but cutting angles is way faster and easier with the Evolution

I installed a Makita speed switch to my old Craftsman miter saw. Installed a Harbor Freight metal blade. Cost, less than a hundred bucks, Does the same thing.
