Beautiful! I bought my son that electric spinning wheel, he is loving it. He and his spouse have an alpaca farm, but since he’s never spun before, I got him some wool because I told him alpaca is more slippery to spin, to practice with the wool first ;).
Thank you! Gosh, what a perfect gift. Yes, I’ve spun quite a bit of alpaca and it’s not a ‘beginner fibre’. Not the trickiest, but you’re wise to start him off on something that isn’t too challenging to begin with.
