good video! I just bought this saw and was looking for help in getting cuts more accurate since there is no laser guide. Looks like i need to push the blade down to the wood to make sure it is on the line before cutting :) THanks
beware I had two of these and both were faulty, when fully retracted and all squared up it was fine and would cut true but when cutting wide boards the saw was out by nearly 1.5mm by the time it was at full reach. both machines had the fault that the motor wasn't true inline with the runners. 1.5mm isn't much for rough cuts but when your wanting to do small boxes or cabinets then it matters. However apart from that its actually quite a good saw for the price.
4x4 inch is about 100mm cut. This machine can do max 70mm. You have turn your post and cut from the other side. Make sure everything is properly secured before you do any cut.
The big blue knob was really tight on mine. It took a lot of force to loosen it. I also unlocked the machine so it could move up and down, and then with a bit of force it tilts to the left only (while facing the front of the machine). Also make sure the silver barrier things (where the wood rests against...can't think of their name) are moved fully out (left one) so that the machine can go all the way down to a 45 degree angle.
