Apple: The point is to make iPhone boxes half size and save many tons of jet fuel by shipping fewer containers for the 100s of millions of iPhones sold every year. Burning jet fuel is BAD. It can only be done once and creates massive amounts of carbon in the air. Also Apple: We own 1 million acres of working forest in the US and China. Forests grow uh trees. Trees are used to make boxes and trees are a renewable resource. Not to mention huge forests help to take carbon from the atmosphere.
