The blucollecton did a video where he put custom art into his plain steelbooks. It looked great when he was done. You could do that if you really hate the plain inside.
I know this video is old, but when he found the dent/scratch on Batman Begins, I laughed so hard. I wonder these are still at my local best buy, might tell my dad to buy them for christmas. *crosses fingers*
hi you could print a normal photo from the internet size 5 by 7 term it a little on a glossy photos paper then take of the plastic inside the steel book and insert easy
Too bad there's no internal artwork. I heard that none of these have any. I have yet to open up the 5 titles I picked up today. I may or may not do a video unpackaging them. Great job with this vid
the recent bestbuy steelbooks are missing the inside artwork...cheaper though. the original canadian release have complete artwork inside and out, for me they're the ones to get !
I picked up five The Dark Knight Batman Begins Inception Gran Torino The Hangover Gran Torino and Batman Begins don't have dents, but they both have scratches which really sucks since you can't tell until you unwrap the shrinkwrap on these things! Really disappointed about the scratches though! Otherwise, the Hangover is the coolest steelbook I picked up and it was my least anticipated. Gran Torino was my most anticipated!
I purchased all of them except Shawshank Redemption and The Matrix (those two were sold out). I got like a dent on three of them, the rest were fine though. I ordered mine online though.
I went to best buy planning to pick these up, but left without them and something else. I just really didn't want to spend more money on movies I already have.
I can't wait for the The Dark Knight Trilogy box set. I just hope they don't wait 6 months to a year after its release an even better, more complete box set.
They need to make a Pulp Fiction steelbook. Scarface, Muppets, hell even Hangover and Green Lantern got steelbooks. The Big Lebowski, Taxi Driver and others get digipacks. But just a barebones edition for Pulp Fiction. Bullshit.
I got it but im dissapointed also that there isnt art work what i did was cut up the paper that was attached to back and put it inside looks cool i guess
wow i got ripped off I got the steelbook from futureshop today of dark knight and it has one disk! looks like I'll be gonna have to see if I can return it btw I never heard about this deal or the steelbook sets yet spider man was advertised everywhere, was this in North America/Canada?
