I bin to a counter in nyc an it’s beautiful i wish they had a store here. But they aren’t getting much exposure in nyc. It’s just really genuine raw elegance. An I’m a very vintage inspired person. An why i love this brand. It represents old luxury to me. Now a days. What we pay for isn’t really worth while. When u take it home quality of stuff as time evolves. Standards are depleting.

Does the engraving coat extra? So true about the lost of handmade artisanship. I was in RM Williams a few weeks ago and noted alot of their stuff is not only no longer handmade but made in a different country now. On a side note about battle of Austerlitz, after Napoleon humbled two great emperors he spent the night of the battle at Austerlitz castle and wrote a greatly understated letter to Josephine "I have beaten the Russian and Austrian armies commanded by two emperors. I am a little tired." ;)

Some of the personalised engraving on certain products are complimentary and some do come with a minimal fee. Its sad that artisanal made products appear to be a rather dying trade where more brands are turning to commercial factories to produce items at the faster pace and on a bigger scale. Certain aspects and identities are lost in such cases unfortunately. Oh my such a humble note written by one of the more dramatic battles ever!!! Thank you for this snippet as its most interesting to look into his sentiments after such triumph!!
