Issue with the strap coming off is because you are putting the strap on with the clips to the inside towards the bag. Turn them around so the part you push down is facing out

The updated version is so nice. Such a great idea for Coach to offer made to order since I’m sure the tabby is their best seller…I have 5 of them 😂 so I really love the style 💜

Maybe once they discontinue the tabby line but don’t expect a sale anytime soon. It’s a popular color & popular bag so chalk and black will probably be the last to go on clearance. I got the tabby in the wine color from the reserve section but it was a seasonal color which is why I was able to get it on clearance.
