Hi Frances, I love your new bag! So much gorgeous Florentine leather! I also love your top. You look beautiful. I use Apple Guard spray on my Florentine bags. Dooney doesn’t recommend it but I have never had any issues. I’m just one that likes them to stay looking new. It seems like they still patina naturally but it gives me that little bit of piece of mind, especially on the natural or lighter colored bags. TFS and enjoy that beauty! Xoxo 🥰😁

This is a gorgeous tote! So happy for you! In regards to treating the bag I have yet to try that myself! I like bags to age gracefully so I don’t worry too much about it I also don’t take the bags that can patina out in rain if I can avoid it! Enjoy the beautiful bag! Ohh the Florentine domed satchel is stunning 🤩,they are a bit heavier but I don’t tend to overload my bags anymore and I find it’s fine ,this one isn’t as heavy as my Florentine satchel as it has tons of heavy hardware on it

Hi, Frances! I actually have been eyeing this bag as well as the one on dooney side also name Florentine tote but with not outside pocket and the strap is longer than this one which I prefer, that bag has the looks of LV neverfull for the way the leather handles looks like tear and has the leather tassel zipper pull.. the one you have went back down on price this morning to $149 as today steals deal. I decided to go for the one that is $229 on the Dooney side without the outside pocket in black black as the strap drop is a big deal for me and my hubby likes that one over the one with the outside pocket. About leather weather protector I do use it on my Florentine ( I have chestnut, red, black and navy in Florentine) and I use apple guard or kiwi leather protector depending which one I have on hand but those two brands are the ones I use as they don’t darken the light leather. I do clean my leather bags before I apply the protector and I do two coats letting dry over night in between coats, when first applying it maybe scarring because it looks wet/dark but they dry almost instantly back to the original color of the bag. I do it because here in the Houston Tx. Area our weather is so iffy when it comes to rain lol. I love your videos and that bag looks so good on you 🤩 Thank you for sharing ❤

Thank you so SO much for all this information and yes I did see the Florentine tote without the outside pocket,and as you say the strap is longer (I’m so tiny it might be to long for me ) and also has the Florentine tassel on the zip ! The black black will be so gorgeous ! I was worried it might be to pebbled but so pleasantly surprised it’s like butter I will pick up some apple guard spray ,I only have the cream one ! I so appreciate you spending time with me today 🥰

Hi 👋 Frances, first thanks for the shout out and OMG 😱 this bag looks gorgeous on you. I try to stay away from totes but this one is tempting. I have all the stuff to guard the bags but honestly when I purchase new I allow them to patina on their own and try to be careful with the weather. When I purchase preloved bags and I clean them up that’s when I use the Apple guard on them. Because they usually arrive dirty and very dry so they need a drink.
