Thank you, I'm really pleased I got her. Some of the Ellowynes are so fancily dressed I'd worry that I wouldn't want to redress them but with this girl I love her stock as it is but can also see the potential to redress her.

Her hair is lovely, it's nice having a rooted Ellowyne and a wigged on too. It's interesting finding a side-eyed Ellowyne as I haven't seen any others before.

It is impossible to buy dolls from the USA now as the custom pirate ransoms are ridiculous. Congratulations on you new dolls she is lovely. I’d like one of these dolls, but it is probably unlikely to happen.

Yes, sadly it can prove expensive purchasing from abroad and getting it shipped in. At least when purchasing items on eBay you are made aware of the extra charges and they sometimes factor them in to the final cost.

Your new girl is lovely. I have a rooted Ellowyne but she has a hairstyle that I am terrified of messing up. Thankfully, I got a wigged version, too. Way less scary. LOL

Yes, I'm really glad that this girl's hair style was just loose rather than up in a complicated style. I really enjoy having a wigged doll too, which I never thought I would, it's a lot of fun.

Thank you so much. I'm really pleased to have her, and like you say, Ellowyne now has a friend to hang out with. Her hair is quite something, as much as I'm enjoying having a wigged Ellowyne, having one with rooted hair is great too, and the colour is stunning.

Congratulations on your new Ellowyne. She’s beautiful and once you come under her spell Ellowyne is hard to resist. I have one with similar coloring and hair but I believe she was a basic doll from the early 2000s and she came dressed in a different Tonner outfit that was only sold as a separate outfit. I love her hair because it’s easy to put up and looks very nice down. She looks great in all kinds of things because of her coloring. I hope you have an opportunity to collect another if you want one and find the right opportunity/price. They really have become very expensive on EBay, even just in the past year. (ps: piercing in those little holes feels daunting at first, but if you use a plastic-top thumb tack and heat the ear for a few seconds with a low setting blow dryer or even just rubbing some very warm water on the ear first, it goes easy. The first time is always scary but the existing holes are great guide. After that you’ll become a pro!)

I wouldn't rule out getting another Ellowyne but I'm in no rush at the moment as I feel with at least two of them they won't get lonely. That said, I would love a Neema to join the Wilde crew. Thank you so much for the tip on ear piercing, I'll hopefully get around to it at some point, maybe if I find some cute earrings for them it might inspire me.

I think her hair is auburn. That's what it looks like in the video.

The hair looks different depending on the light etc, and on video the colour is different to how it looks in real life, it's interesting. It's still a very rich colour but sometimes it looks more brown than red and other times more red than brown. Auburn seems like a good description for it.

I have removed the hands and even accidentally the lower arm but they snap into place with a good steady push. The pegs need to be straight. I have shown this on a video on my channel. I try not to do it too much and only if necessary so as not to wear them out. They do look like they could be different face sculpts but it’s hard to say. The painting can really change their look. I’m so excited that you got another one!❤

Thank you for the letting me know about the hands (and lower arms). I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try it yet but maybe one day. I'm undecided on whether they have the same face sculpt or not, it's really hard to tell, but seeing them side by side they look very different. I was VERY excited to get another one!

She is gorgeous. These dolls are amazing. I would love one but it is not a good idea at the moment. Maybe time will come, who knows! Better do a good clear out first and stop buying playline (easy with no more Shadow High dolls releases...)

Yeah, my doll buying has dropped off this year, although obviously I have made one or two big buys to make up for it! it's important to remember that you can still be a doll collector even if you're not actively adding to your collection.

Yes, to add more is not a necessity. You are right. I have bought so many dolls between just before Christmas and virtually now, it is ridiculous! I bought so many SH reduced and some RH, some Mermaze Mermaids ... I am not even sure exactly what I bought reduced, it was so many. I ended up completing the Zombaes forever first and second series frantically (I don't generally complete series) because the individual dolls of the first series were £3 in B&M and the second series was £1.99 in Home Bargain. I have no space to display them all. It is crazy! And I can't display either all the dolls I still need to unbox. Sigh... I think I must have been possessed!! I want to not do that anymore. It is kind of toxic in a way if you see what I mean.

Beautiful March ! Like cherished Dollie’s said the hands are on a peg so they do come off . I love her side eye makes them a little bit different from each other .

Thank you, as soon as I saw her I knew I needed to get her. I'm not sure how I feel about trying to remove the hands, thankfully I don't think I have any outfits that need me to do that. She does look very different to my other Ellowyne which I really like too.

As soon as saw her face and hair I really wanted her to be a friend for by original Ellowyne. Along with that I quite like the academia look that she comes with, it offers so many options for mixing and matching with other clothes.

I was so lucky to get her, the Ellowyne Wilde dolls are so expensive on eBay and so rare to find in Europe so it was great that I found one that I loved and she in Europe too.

I actually did want to use the "Ad" of Adrift to rename her - I was thinking Adelaide or maybe the French version Adélaïde, seeing as she did come to me from Paris. I then liked the name Adelia and then I thought Dahlia... it's actually hard to name a doll! I LOVE my Ellowyne Wilde dolls, they are a really nice size to me, I hope you find one that you really love too.

After the first couple of New Who series I ended up sliding off the show and just dipping in and out of it every so often (mostly out). I like the Classic series because it makes me feel nostalgic, in many ways they try and make it too good now. Thanks for the tip on the hands, I have a feeling that taking off Adrift's shirt will be okay, but getting it back on could be a whole other story!
