I think all that you got was a good value. I didn’t know that the FAS sold selvages or scrap bags.

The scrap bag is better than the salvage bag. I would use it.

Farm to table fabric is so cute! A small wristlet to carry cash for the farmers market would be darling.

Love the fabric. I’ve thought about getting the scrap bag, thanks for sharing what we might get. I’m thinking bowl koozies or pot holders would work out well if you don’t use the fabric for quilting.

The salvages looked great. You could make a string quilt blocks. The potato fabric is cute as a microwave baked potato bag.

Pat Sloan did a great selvage quilt, i think it is called Red Zinger. It used a lot of selvages and an accent fabric.

Love the selvage pack! I bought one a month or so ago and was excited it was all tula fairy dust and that 1 time Holtz browb crocodile hahaha. Mine were mostly 2.5 - 3" wide so I can use for binding.

The scrap bag fabrics are very good prospects for future projects! The selvage pieces I would NOT utilize.

That is an awesome scrap bag! That yellow farm print is Bev McCullough’s Sweet Acres....I love that entire line so much. The farm to table fabric would make such a cool produce bag like you said, I’d do a little patchwork style with it!

I got some fabric in a scrap bag like that one that you thought was dirty, only mine had small black polka dots instead of buttons. I also thought it was dirty at first! It is kind of strange to me, when I don't know what the other fabrics in the line look like, and why they made it look slightly dirty. I will probably use it in a scrappy quilt, and may even use the "wrong" side. It also may coordinate well with something like TimHoltz Elements. Who knows? LOL

String blocks like everyone is saying and crumb quilting - I'd use it. I keep all my selvages, trying to get enough to make a mummy quilt. My sew sampler box came by way of UPS to our USPS office in Springfield. It sat in Kansas City, MO for several days...didn't someone here mention that the UPS trucks have to wait until they have a full cargo to continue to the next destination? Anyhoo, I'm fine as long as you get yours fast and I can see the goods since I hate "Antici-Pation" (Rocky Horror reference - look it up, I'm here to educate.) The Maywood buttons remind me of cookie cutters. Oh, that farm to table fabric is really cute! I'd make hot pads, dish towel, bowl cozies, tater bag/corn bag, hanging bag to hold the grocery store plastic bags - very cute. I like the Riley Blake fabric also - very happy, I'd make the same stuff as the farm to table fabric. I'd put the red gingham with the yellow cow/chicken fabric and make all kinds of crap - maybe throw in some of the selvages for binding or just additional color. The last piece with the little flowers mixes well with everything. Great haul! Thanks for the show - wonder how many of us ran to get the scrap bags...here's me running!🏃‍♀Oooppps! I like the Kaffe selvages. Personally, I would not pay $10.00 for selvages, but I am extrememly thrifty. Maybe $3 to $4 for that, I mean, they are selvages. I honestly think they should give them away but again, that's just me. Yes, I do absolutely use scraps for sure. Nice scrap bag.

I've seen those scrab bags on the site and have been very curious! I'm always a little hesitant, but that was a cute pack with some nice sized cuts! I may have to take the plunge! Maywood Studios makes all of the fabric for Kimberbell. I'm not sure if that particular piece is Kimberbell's, but usually when I find something by Maywood it's Kimberbell. Great video!
