Derfflinger and it's two sisters the Lutzow and Hindenburg were the best battlecruisers of WWI. Between the Lutzow and Derfflinger they both sank at least one British battlecruiser at the Battle of Jutland. Lutzow was Vice-Admiral Hipper's flagship and both took an amazing amount of punishment (the German doctrine was to put so much armor on their ships to be able to take hits from the same size shells they fired). Lutzow made it out of the battle and was taking on a lot of water and the Germans scuttled the ship and still had to fire torpedoes from one of their own destroyers to sink it. Derfflinger made it back to port.
not much planning to this video...?..lol.. "here's this piece and ..ummm.... this little thing...huh...is this plastic?".. when I get mine in, I'll give it a more deserving review ..it's a fantastic kit.!
Zero planning. If I had to plan there would be no video as most of my time is taken up by running KitMaker. These videos are only suppose to give you an idea of what's in the box (which only requires you to look really, not listen to my useless banter). That said we have about 25,000 unique visitors to Model Shipwrights each month so if you do a full review and would like to see your video published there than feel free to submit the info. We publish articles from people all over the globe. And... we have a full inbox review of the kit here: modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=10168
