Full Unboxing & Review of the CaddyTek EZ-Fold Push Cart! $200 on Amazon Canada Thanks for watching! Comment any questions and I will be sure to answer them. Cheers.
Thank you for the complete walk-around of the unit. I have a later model but none the less your video helped me resolve a small problem. The steel cable between the rear wheels, came loose on mine and I re-installed it incorrectly, your video helped me correct this little problem. Enjoy the game and thanks again.
Thank you so much for your time and care in filming this video. I am a 70 year old woman and my skills in assembly are few. I was worried after reading some of the negative comments on assembly, unlocking, and front wheel issues. After watching your video I confidently ordered one!
Thanks. I was put off buying this due to negative comments online but these seem to be by people who are incapable of putting it together in the first place. You made it look simple so I’ll be buying it now 👍🏻🏴
Thanks for explaining how to open and close the cart as well as explaining all of the accessories. I didn’t realize some of the features and the wheel being rotated at the bottom and how to properly place the cart and adjust the front wheel so it doesn’t rub. Didn’t realize there was a cooler bag for snacks, water or etc! Thank you.
I just purchased (yesterday) the CaddyTek Caddylite EZ V8 - EZ-Fold 3 Wheel Golf Push Cart on Amazon $173.46 USD - arrival date is tomorrow. I read a number of reviews & thought this fit my budget & requirements. I've used the Sun Mountain Pathfinder type push cart the past 9 years and it held up pretty fair. I walk ~140 rounds/year. Since the Sun Mountain has nearly reached the end of its usable functionality I thought I'd give the CaddyTek a shot. Nice review, good video. Thanks for posting.
When I saw the video was 15 minutes I thought it would be too long. But actually it is a great video. Especially the "out of the box" section. I am in the market to purchase and was looking for reviews and this was a great video for me to make my decision. Thanks!!
Thanks for the detailed assembly and review. I have this exact same cart, but unfortunately the locking mechanism is defective on my unit. I'm sure I'll enjoy using it after I have it exchanged.
I have one of these carts and at first it was stiff to open/close. I sprayed some heavy duty silicone into each of the hinge joints and it made it much easier. You could probably use WD-40 as well to do the same thing. It’s very well-made cart and have had no trouble with it after 2 years.
Good review. I just finished putting mine together. Easy. The only issue that I had was the "PUSH" button. It just wouldn't move. I used both thumbs together and couldn't get it to budge. I finally used a rubber mallet and gave it a soft hit. I opened right up. After that, it wasn't a problem any more. It seems to be a slick cart. I'm looking forward to using it!
Nice review, one question though i take once first assembled you never need to rotate the front wheel back to the lock position? i thought perhaps you might have to, to fully collapse the unit
I purchased this cart based on this review too... but my model is slightly different, obviously newer as it's now 2021. Sad to say I am having troubles with it, because the button you press to close it down is just terrible! After 45 minutes of swearing and sweating, we figured out the trick. To close it you must: hold down one wheel with your foot - use all arm strength to push the handle skywards - listen for a faint click - then and only then is the button pressable. It folds smoothly once you press the button but it requires a lot of strength to get to that point! It'll be a wrestling match and I think this is important for people to know as it was really important to me and frankly I would not have gotten this model had I known it'd be an issue. Possibly I just have a slightly defective model? But I just wanted to share that with anyone watching this video, which for the most part is still applicable, but now 3 years old so no longer the exact same EZ-Fold sold by Costco.
The written instructions which come with the unit clearly explain that, before pushing the button, lift up slightly on the handle to take the tension off the button mechanism. With mine this is exceptionally easy to do. From your description, it sounds as the 'defect' was in failing to read the instructions completely.
@@rogerl7533 LOL the instructions that came with mine were illustrations with titles in improper English. Trust me, there isn't much to read. Watching the video kindly provided by the reviewer was the best way to get the cart out of the box and into use and I am grateful for nice folks like him who use the internet to help people out. No reason to be rude, dude. Have a GREAT DAY!
@@rogerl7533 I think what you are choosing to not understand is that there are some faulty locking mechanisms that aren’t working as the instructions are stating.
POMS Peace of Mind Supply. No problem your review really helped me with picking this cart for my dad. Not a lot of reviews really go into depth about all the components.
Great review. Mellow and short and sweet. I am guessing that the umbrella holder actually holds an umbrella in the upright position when it is open when it is raining. Am I correct on that?
The umbrella holder knob on tge end of the screw internally comes off everytime I use it. Therefore it doesn't hold my umbrella. Also the bag height adjustment keeps moving. Please give suggestions.
i noticed in your video there are 2 bungees going across the mesh pocket, are the bungees from plastic storage area on the handle & where do you connect those?
The foot brake is actually great. It's not friction based like a bicycle brake, instead a metal bar shifts forward into a plastic catch. Will never wear out. Great question
I have a Caddy Tek EZ-Fold 4-wheel cart. The issue I have is on occasion the latch at the Red Push Button will disconnect, dropping the handle. Have you heard of this problem and if so, is there a fix? Thanks.
Thanks Phil! Great question, I've had the cart out about 2 dozen times since the video and there are no signs of wear. One of the most important features IMO is the brake and the fact that it's not a friction brake was a great move on CADDYTEK. Great bang for your buck
@@pomspeaceofmindsupply2164 It was on the back of this video that i went and bought two of them. One for me , and one for a mate that needed one as well. Good units...proven to be exactly what i was looking for.
Very similar model but not the same! Caddytek seems to make quality long lasting products so if it suits your needs I would say $90 is well worth it. Thanks for watching!
I hate mine. Super hard to deploy and takes so much force to close it I feel like it is going to break. Too much drag on the plastic components that slide on the frame. I went back to my ancient pull cart. At least I know when I am in the parking lot at the golf course I won't spend 10 minutes fighting with it. Maybe I just got a defective one but if others are complaining I can't be the only one. Probably made in China so quality control is sketchy.
I bought this brand of four-wheel products before Christmas. The assembly is very simple. The balance is very poor when I use them. The friction between the front wheel and the bag will cause the car to not run normally in a straight line. I am very disappointed with the quality of this brand of products
