It's insanely hard to scratch I've bumped it , had the sharp end of blowers around my workplace bump and glide across it , even had it glide across 320 grit sandpaper by accident , after wiping it with a micro fiber dry (no lube the dust had a chance of scratching it )and inspecting it under a light from different angles not a single scratch which is insane to say the least it dies scratch but you practically have to intentionally scratch it like tryna dig a knife in there or something definitely not easy to scratch , the screen protector/ sacrificial layer is always a good idea though
