@@POPJack1717 not really, the Glock 19x was well loved,, but police couldn’t use it because of the tan color, they made this design specifically for police use, meaning it must be reliable. And anyone will pay top dollar for reliability.

You definitely can. However, I would suggest going to a gunsmith to remove the rear sight. The front sight can be easily removed via a proprietary Glock front sight tool. You can find those on Amazon or pretty much anywhere.

I would say it’s better to call it a black Glock 19X with a slide cut for a red dot.

Found one at local gun shop for $739.00 I don’t know if that is around what there selling for or not but to me it’s kinda high but it’s a nice pistol and it comes with 3 magazines, four back straps,cleaning rod,brush and a four pack of different optical mounting plates and screws but the case is way to small for all the items and doesn’t fit very good and you will break the hinges on the plastic case,Glock should do much better on packaging there items especially at the price they want for them

I guess it is personal preference for positive control of the slide releasing. I know most people pull the trigger first then go on to pulling the slide to the rear slightly and then use the takedown lever.

I’d say yes, if ultimately you plan to run a red dot. One thing to note is that it is cheaper to upgrade to the MOS than it is to have your slide milled and refinished.

@@GunBoxTherapy I wanted the 19x but then I found out about the G45. But when I got on academy website to look for it. Many popped up. I don’t understand because I’m new to this. What is the MOS? G45 gen 5

Doesn’t the 19x have the smaller grip like the 19, and not the 17 sized grip like the 45 has?

@@stevenrodriguez9655 the 19x is the hybrid so it has the 17 grip, the normal 19 has a smaller grip
