This particular version is showing at over a grand , uk pounds, its stretching the cost just a little i think , but then they would not make them if they knew they would never sell any. Interesting that the sounds are the same as on my £300 heng long T90. Trying to weigh up the cost and my Taigen Leopard has a metal bottom hull, metal gears , metal tracks, suspension, idlers. The same Heng Long sounds ..and is half the price of this Haya. Great video, the in depth look and examination is nice.
Paid £550 for the pro version now 2 months later haya tanks are adding extra parts for £80 what a joke was the tank not finish or was it a crafty move I think the people that brought it should get the extra parts for free or a reduced cost
Dear Stanley, Received Leopard today. I'd like to convert the recoil BB Barrel into a smoking and flash barrel. Also changing the smoke generator to a Fan assist generator.. There is no flash LED unit on this V6 leopard. Please advise. Thank you.
you can get the cannon smoke unit with LED flash and engine smoke unit from my website wwww.rctanklegion.com/collections/smoke-scent/products/new-cannon-smoke-unit-with-barrel-flash-kit
Spoil yourself and check out The Tank Museum's Tiger Day stream from last Saturday and enjoy the info on driving the actual Cheiftain compared to Tiger 131.
Hi Stanley great review i just bought one. It came with 7.4v lipo battery, what is the maximum volt and mah lipo battery that i can use? Thanks Stanley be safe
@@StanlleyLegion thanks Stanley 4000mah is what i’ll buy,but what about the battery voltage, can we go higher than 7.4v that came with the tank? Also manual reads 2s to 3s,can i go 3s? Thanks again Stanley
Yea,the tank engine sounds need some work. The Chieftain was fitted with a diesel engine not a turbine and none of the tank engine sounds I heard here sound remotely like a Chieftain. Which is a shame. Still. It looks good and runs well by the looks of it. Seen them currently going for around five or six hundred quid. For the pro versions that is. Just in case anyone is interested in getting one. Nice to see that they've pretty much got the recoil right. Although for some reason they've got the range finder machine gun hooked up and not the turret machine gun next to it. Which is a bit odd. Still it is a very nice tank. As far as British tanks go I would like to see something like the Churchill brought out at some point though. Be a nice change from the endless Sherman's you can get. Lol
@@PieAndChips well if they do I haven't seen it on the UK market yet. So until it does I'll just have to make do with My Panther A and Panzer mk 3. Lol
You can read up on the battle capabilities of the 6.0 electronics at RC Universe tank forum www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-tanks-369/11670199-heng-long-6-0-ir-battle-system-review.html
@@nitzerebbhead does it include this newest 6.3 on this chieftain exclusively for HAYA? I wonder did the HengLong fix it? it will machine gun tamiya so is not fair and broken, EDIT: I have read most of what you wrote! I was surprise you made the the Fin filter hat /cap for it, I have always suggested that to anyone had the tank but 98% of the time either they don't know how to make or uninterested or afraid of Inconsistent result , worry of filtering too much or whatever, tonnes of factors
@notzerebbhead, this is the first time I learnt that it does not receive hit when turret is turning, is a nice feature imo, you got chance to retaliates, but sadly tamiya or clark don't have this features so making the game not all tank the same.
They don't seem to be hard to break, but they are sharp. I got my tracks caught in a high pile rug. It started to pull the threads out of the rug... :)
Great video STAN. If l purchase this unit can u supply metal drive wheels, 360 turret gear. An if it doesn't come with it, an infinite 360 wiring harness. Also what is the price for the PRO. Thanks Stan does this brand make other tanks?? Much appreciated. Aussie Scott.
the metal drive wheels are supplied (called sprockets) yes we sell the 360 turret gear, and slip ring wiring harness too. it's USD700 this is their 1st RC Tank. Next is Centurion, slated 2020
@@StanlleyLegion Really drive sprocket, jee glad u told me that. I only spent over ten years in the Army!!! Yes obviously l mean what l said the "ROAD WHEELS" like the one's in between the idler an drive sprockets!!. Price?? Thanks...😵
I know there's not one out there but I think they've priced it a little to high £550 the pro version seems a lot but I still love this tank they've done ha great job big question is when are we getting a chieftain Clark board
I have just bought one of these and had my first run today/play! Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and this is fantastic, The build quality is superb. My neighbour who makes models is going to weather for me and paint the crew I have also just bought.
David Rotheram got mine a month ago and the detail is very good plus there's no chieftain out there to buy apart from this one that's why it's priced right I think,my ones in bits at the moment it's going through the usual paint schedule 😃
Great video Stanlley. The British Chieftain MBT is one of my all time favourite tanks. I would love Tamiya to produce this tank. Out of curiosity how much is this tank retailing for Stanlley? Cheers Gary
Tamiya RC Tanks and their gearboxes have entered the chat: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-moNAQJez3bM.html & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VNP6Dstz6wc.html - Practically unnoticeable up close and most certainly not at a distance.
I don’t wanna waste $600 on some thing that looks kind of bad so I just want to know. I have a few questions There website looks fake. Is it good? Are they a crappy Chinese company like tongde and Heng long? Are they as good as Tamiya
Ranging .50 machine gun sound is all wrong, should be "bop, bop, bop",coax mg is the small one above main armament, apart from that and the "Tiger"soundcard,I LOVE IT!!An old Cheiftain gunner
The tracks are crap. The real tracks had rubber pads bolted to each link. For that kind of price I would expect more attention to details like that. The engine sound is totally unrealistic. As a former Chieftain crewman, I wouldn't buy this.
