Great showcase. My favs are The Exposed Engines. Welcome back Crate Racer. Design Lab, Car Meet, and Mad Studs. Baja Bone Shaker is the best version yet. The only one I'm missing is Nightburnerz, but I'll hunt it down eventually.

4:19 By far the most difficult 5-pack to find! Probably because of the charger and supra. I rarely found it in stores and most of them were on Amazon until they ran out in early 2023 😅

In Ukraine literally nobody wants them. Most of our toy stores have them just lying, some reselling them for lower than retail price. And that's despite the fact that Fast & Furious is also hyped in our region. Maybe it's just because we have less collectors, I dunno.

@@tomaslopez2940 not at all, in areas which are not occupied and are not near the front line people are still living their normal lives despite occasional shellings, and the diecast collector community, while significantly smaller than in the US, is quite lively and thriving. As for why F&F 5-packs are not selling that well, I can only speculate that there's just too many of these being ordered by the stores (including grocery stores) and pretty much everyone who wanted one got one. As opposed to F&F Series 1 & 2, which I saw once each, and only the least hyped ones (which is good enough for me, 'cause my favourite Escort and Charger Daytona from F&F6 were there😂). The resell value of JDMs in those series is insane, they're 4 or sometimes even 5 times the retail price. Thankfully that's not the case with Series 3, I (and probably many others) got everything I wanted from the shelves and every time I see a person on flea markets trying to sell 2F2F S2000 for more than 1,5 times the price - they get laughed on hard😅

Definitely don't think they should stop making fantasy cars. Kids love fantasy cars, collectors set the market but kids sell the product. More money made better future product.

The only fantasy car I have in my collection is the Celero GT. But you know HW has to sell to kids too, eventhough they don't even play with toys anymore

Dude, hell no, I collect Hot Wheels FOR their fantasy cars. I mean, it's the thing that differentiates HW from other brands, and if not for them - why would I not just buy my real cars from better true scale brands? The old fantasy cars were better for sure, but even some of the new ones are great like your Limited Grips, Dimachinni Veloces, El Segundo Coupes etc. What Mattel could do instead, however, is to just make them better and thus more appealing. I really hate when a well-designed fantasy car like Maximum Leeway has plastic body and a metal base. It's how they keep the costs of Hot Wheels down apparently, and it's sad, 'cause fantasy cars were the Hot Wheels's identity for most of their existence.
